That'd be true, except for lots of reasons. First of which is more pedantic, since not every country has both a king and queen. England doesn't.
Secondly, "princess" is just a feminine version of "prince" which comes from "princeps" meaning "the first". "Prince" can be the title of a ruler in and of itself (hence Machiavelli using it for his book), not merely the runner-up. And while traditionally the female word doesn't have the same connotations because women didn't traditionally become rulers, it doesn't mean exactly what you think.
And to borrow an example from Disney, Anna will remain princess her entire life if nothing happens to Elsa prior to bearing an heir. Even when she's 70.

Nope, not how it works - assuming you have a king and queen (and its not a principality were the prince/princess is the ruler) the younger siblings keep the prince/princess title.
For example, if queen Elizabeth died, and Prince Charles became king, his younger brother Andrew would still be Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Prince Andrews children would inherit the Duke of York title.
