Movies revolving around a psychiatric asylums? So far I've seen AHS:Asylum and Stonehearst asylum
Close Encounters is a decent horror movie. It follows a group of paranormal investigators who camp out in an asylum for their show.

might be 2deep4u though
>go to asylum
>turn crazy yourself
>don't notice it until the end of the flick
I hope one day somebody will make a movie like this.

mfw I grew up near there but never had the guts to go explore the place before they tore it down, even in daytime for just photos
This one is pretty good. It's got one of those old-timey endings that just comes out of nowhere though.

I thought grave encounters would be crap because I didnt like the premise but I actually liked it, it had some creepy stuff like when they wake up and the sun is not our, the scratches on the girl etc
I dont really like the monsters, I think subtle stuff that fucks with your mind is a thousand times more scary than a random ghoul
Watched the 2nd too, while its way weaker I really liked when they leave the elevator and they're back at the asylum.

Great film. Leo's acting is a little funny at times but for me that adds to the charm, I think people were too harsh with this one as far as neo-scorsese goes, I certainly prefer it to aviator/departed/wolf of wall st.
