Sense8 is mostly good, some of the dialogue is absurd, I have no problem with the LGBT stuff though

It's a retty typical case of "decent story, wrong format" IMO, like the Matrix sequels or The Hobbit (1 movie worth of story spread into more than one movie).
Except in this case it's the other way round.
First draft of the script was 600 pages. That's literally 10 hours.
I'm pretty sure making it into a HBO mini series would have been a much better choice.
It would have made the "Mila Kunis gets kidnapped then rescued" feel a lot less repetitive for instance.
Casting someone other than Kunis and Tatum would have helped a lot though
