the gone home of film.
I'm surprised that Jake Gyllenhaal was able to recover from a role like that to have a successful film career. I bet this movie is a part of the reason why Heath an hero'd.
At least it was a movie. Gone Homo wasn't even a game. If it was a proper equivalent, Brokeback would be a radio drama that is being aired in cinemas for some reason.

ITT: Underrated boxing movies. No Rocky or Raging Bull please.
I'll start.
best boxing movie ever
>>63371211
Barely about boxing and Scorsese says he isn't a fan of the sport so this doesn't count.
Was Sam the real hero of the books and movies?
>>63371170
I wouldn't say he's THE hero, but he was a hero.
He saw through Gollum's ruse, and Frodo would have definitely died without him.
>>63371170
The whole Fellowship we're the heroes in their own way. This is what makes the story so great. But Samwise has always been underrated. Frodo wouldn't have got anywhere near Mount Doom without him, yet if Sam had inherited the ring he wouldn't have had the strength to resist it's power.
Essentially, everyone needed each other to bring down Sauron.

Can you explain this?
Will they ever make an adult centric movie with Pixar / Dreamworks quality animation?
Or will it always be
>muh box office potential
Monsters Inc, Cars, MU, The incredibles, UP
Are very adult centric package with a kiddie giftwrap to trap kids into watching it.
by pixar/dreamworks i'm going to assume you mean high-budget CGI from a big studio, and not indie animation.
it's honestly what i want most in the world, but sadly it's always gonna be muh box office potential at the big studios, so unless someone comes in with an radical idea that would surely rake in lots of muns, we're pretty shit outta luck. they have huge staff to pay and those high quality renders take so many hours to produce.
would use one of my 3 wishes for a good one. for the time being we just have to content ourselves with the rare...

Probably not. It's just not in the DNA of American animation. Animation is only considered acceptable there if it's a kids' movie, family movie or adult comedy.
Golly! This movie has great action and a perfect cast. I think I missed something though.. Why did Spider-Man seem surprised when Norman Osborn took off his helmet during the final confrontation? After Spider-Man gets off the phone when trying to warn MJ he says, "He knows"
also the fire scene looks amazing on blu-ray
Willem Dafoe has the best line during the climax, "You are who you choose to be"
P.S. I'm sorry to make another superhero thread I just thought it was pretty good
