After seeing the Face Off episode on Warcraft I'm glad they went CGI for as many races as possible. The Warcraft aesthetic would simply not translate very well or very accurately using makeup.
>>67662274
Not entirely CGI it's an actor in mocap. I like the look tbqh.
>>67662487
Even the CGI shitfest Hobbit movies managed to pull the dwarf look with makeup.
The main theme of Malick's films on spiritual dematerialism is not eschatological, but a phenomenological ontology. Thus he implies that we have to choose between predialectic construction and deconstructivist neodialectic theory, essentially Heideggerian as seen in the concept of Dasein. The subject is interpolated then into a cinematic dematerialism that includes spirituality as a whole. But if the Kierkegaardian worldview holds, we have to choose between the cultural paradigm of expression and atomism. In Malick's own "The Concept of Horizon in Husserl and...

Why do people expect a movie about childrens cartoons be some kind of dark mature art house drama.
The same edgelords that "HIIIISSSS" at the screen is there is any lightheartedness in a film about grown-men in pajamas. Like when the sunlight hits a vampire type of "hiiisss"
How does this make any sense?

I hated that show as a kid. It was boring. One of those shows that when it came on was like "fuck, now I have to find something else to watch".
And they would usually show it at times of the day when nothing else good was on other channels. So I would have to watch this shit show that I hated. Fuck that show.
Who /AngelaAnaconda/ here?
How do you think her transition to Hollywood will go?
Will she have a career after Game of Thrones?
>>67659393
She's really tall, which makes her seem a lot older. She'll be fine if she sticks to action movies.
>>67659393
I think it's going pretty well. She's almost passable lmao
I'M GONNA MARRY SOPHIE!
Will Hollywood ever stop this trend of creating mediocre reboots and remakes, and actually start to make original, creative films?
>>67659059
>Make original, witty, compelling film
>Gets lambasted because it isn't a Marvel-esque quip fest
DC was the last chance for cinema
Nope.
Why would they? Making movies costs money and is risky. If there isn't some kind of garunteed payoff then they won't bother.
Young adult films
Reboots
Sequels
Splitting up movies into multiple parts
"Based on a true story"
Hollywood is out of ideas. They want the easy payoff. If you market something enough that has at least a little recognition to it (ghostbusters, godzilla, Indiana jones, star wars), then people will flock to it because it's familiar somehow.
