The theatrical cut as it stands is an absolute mess with so many plotholes and editing problems.

There's only a couple scenes that would improve it from what I've read. One is a meeting between the senate and resistance. It's just them shooting down aid against the first order and calling Leia a warmonger. There's a part where 3PO says they're doomed without the Republic fleet. That line would have made more sense if we'd seen the petition for aid. Also may have made us care about Hosnian Prime.
Motion Sickness is cause by an imbalance of fluid in the ears(ie a boat rocking back and forth or a car driving crazy), not from sitting in a chair watching shit move quickly on a screen

It's because of a discrepancy between your perceived motion and your actual motion. Your brain gets conflicting signals. So you get seasick because you can feel the boat rocking but it looks steady. Simulator sickness is the opposite, you see motion but you don't feel it.
