So, I'm going on a 3 week roadtrip through the states starting in New York and ending in Austin Texas followed by a week in South Korea (representing Iceland in the Korean Prime Minister Cup).

My question is, if you were going to spend 5 - 7 days to travel from New York to Chicago, what would you consider interesting to explore along the way?
I'm not much of a city person, so nature is something I'd prefer.

kancamagus highway in NH, Acadia national park in Maine a bit out of the way, but you could see Niagara falls and drop down into Chicago from Canada.

As much as I wish it were a picture of anal beads, it's actually a photograph of ice that I've taken.
