When I'm in national parks like that I know I just want to do traditional camping stuff. Canoeing, kayaking, getting drunk, bonfires, biking trails, swimming, fishing, boating

if you didn't bring much with you, the outfitters have stuff you can rent/buy

or if you're a bit more experienced you can do a canoe camping trip for 3 days

Cheers guys. Keen to do plenty of cycling and canoeing.

Good to know the outfitters can sort you out with gear as we won't have much at all.

Maybe a stupid question but are bears a genuine concern?

Algonquin does have a pretty high density of bears compared to other places in Ontario, but bears don't like being around humans. Since it's peak season for people to go camping and whatnot you probably won't see one. This also depends on wear you go. If you go to an established camp ground that has enough people you probably won't see any, but if you go more remote you might want to start thinking about taking some bear precautions

actually, I should probably correct myself. you should probably take some safety measures when in developed campgrounds but just not as strict ones as if you were remote

that horse looks brain damaged

Fuck a moose. Animals have no legal rights, not that they would refuse anyway.
