So, after saving up lots of money and getting the approvals, I'm interested in Studying Abroad for a full year to finish college with a bang and I was looking to do it in France. I do speak French, its my minor actually. I have been to France a few times (Twice in Paris, once in Nice) so I have a bit of an idea what I'm getting into.

However, due to some recent things going on within the news, I'm not sure if I should study abroad in France. I had the opportunity to study Business in Paris and was very excited but I'm not sure now. I can also study in Nice for a semester and I thought about that, but the Paris opportunity would be great.

Is it safe to go abroad right now? If so, should I go to Paris or Nice? Both cost roughly the same (Nice is a bit more expensive) so that's not a problem.

Thanks /trv/.

I'd go to Nice.
I love France but I fucking hate Paris.

Paris is going to cost you a whole lot more than Nice. Don't underestimate the impact of monthly living costs.

I'm assuming you're American: yes, it is. Don't worry. Certainly don't cancel your plans if your options are in France! If your options were Karachi and Baghdad I'd reconsider, but you'll be fine. Remember: there are millions of people living there every day without any problems. /pol/ is not reality.

I myself had the opportunity of studying abroad (Italy) for either a semester or a year. Pick whatever opportunity allows you to go abroad for as long as you can. It sounds like a cliché, and it sort of is, but it broadens your mind in a way that no course at any university ever will be able to.

Hey man I'm a local in Paris. If you decided to go there I could help you get in touch with people and overall be helpfull.

The town is pretty indiferent toward its citizens and sometimes parisians are a pain in the ass to deal with.
