Traveling to Bangkok for 2 weeks..American 27 Male

Ok, so I am going to Sathon Bangkok Thailand at the beginning of July for 2 weeks (randomly selected the location in bangkok and bought the tickets n hotel). Why am i going? to have fun..I'm not huge into touristy shit and I've never paid for sex (I've got to several strip clubs and have only got a few dances). I am not trying to bang a ladyboy...i think...any suggestions on what to do there? will I be safe taking a random taxi from the airport (does my luggage put me at any risk..like if i have a hiking bag or a rolley bag or a big duffel)? am i better off just traveling light and buying shit there? best clubs (hipster places..chill places..or clubs)? i love thai food (spicy thai salad and tom yum soup in particular), any suggested locations to eat at, maybe a place with a show too? how fucked am i only being able to speak english?

More importantly i have always wanted to wingsuit, can i do that there without having the certifications (does anybody know a location)? I've tandem jumped and I kind of jump out of planes for a living...but at a lower altitude with harder to control parachutes.
