I love dealing with this kind of bullshit when I'm traveling, it just makes everything more enjoyable and less stressful. Thanks scammers!

I once had trouble swiping my Metrocard in Newark to get on the Path and some nigger "helped me" by taking my card out of my hand, swiping me in, then gave me an empty card he was holding, effectively swapping with me. It happened too fast. Fucking Newark.

Dumbly purchased flights from a scammer website, SMARTFARES. Website said cancel anytime, we canceled within 24 hours. Of the 800 spent they wanted to only give us half back, loosing 400$.
Hours of conversations and debating with outsourced people with pour English skills. I found the CEO on LinkedIn. Messaged him letting him know his company sucks and I would slander his company unless I was refunded. Got all money back immediately, it was a lesson and a win.
Avoid smart fares
First time abroad when I was 15 I got tricked into that gypo trick where you put your arm out, they tie shit to it and charge you. Gave them 5 euros and they pissed off.
Jokes on them, 9 years later and it's one of the only souvenir I have still have.

Took a 2 week trip to Asia, used my credit card one time, at the Emperor Hotel in Macau. After I got home work sent me to Long Beach for a training course. Tried to my credit card there but it wasn't working. Turns out the Emperor Hotel staff took my card info on a shopping trip to Hong Kong. Credit card though, so I wasn't out anything.
