Gonna be my first time in Chicago pretty soon. What is the best place to eat deep dish pizza?

I work at a Lou Malnati's, 2nd job as a driver.
IMO the pizza is better than Giordano's and Gino's East, and that's coming from a lifelong Chicagoan. If you don't want to spend a lot and like thin crust, Freddie's on 31st is good.

Chicagoan here. IMO deep dish is pretty overrated as far as Chcago's official food. Lou's is definitely the spot for it, but if you are there longer than a day, find a good hot dog. I think the Chicago Dog is much more quintessentially Chicago. Deep dish pizza is just round lasagna.

Deep Dish pizza is the only chicago regional food thats worth a shit. Chicago dogs take a consistently mediocre food and make it gross. Thin crust is just a worse overly sweet version of NYC style pizza, and Italian beefs are worse versions of cheesesteaks.
