Hey everybody, I have a question for you all and for everyone who likes traveling. I'm an Italian student and this summer I'm going in the USA for a month to study English and have some fun.
So far I can decide if going to LA or to Santa Barbara. I'm more likely to choose LA but I'd like to hear some opinions. Also I'm 19.
inb4 LA hate.
Santa Barbara is much smaller than Los Angeles. If I were you, I'd go to Los Angeles to get a bigger taste of the US. There much more landmarks to visit there.
I'd do the Bay Area
San Francisco to be exact
LA native here, I'd recommend it. SB is really small, and it's a nice town but there's not much to do. I usually don't recommend LA for tourists who will only be here a few days, but it's a good place to spend a month.
Where in Italy are you from, by the way? I'm part Italian and visited my relatives in Italy a few years ago, they live way up north near Lago di Garda.
Be prepared to be bored. Studying abroad in the US when you are under 21 is lame af.
