I'm going to the Philippines in about 40 someodd days. I'm going to be there for little over a month, and I was wondering if anyone has flown from Manila to Bangkok, and was wondering if the prices of tickets was cheaper in country, then in the US.

Subscribe to Cebu Pacific's mailing list, they give a lot of cheap flights from time to time.
Get your luggage or backpack covered in several layers of cling wrap. The tanim balam syndicate is still out there.
Are there any other airlines from the philippines? Cebu Pacific has shitty service and I don't trust its cheapness

When visiting Bangkok, spend a day in Krabi (nice beaches!). Krabi is just 2hrs drive from Bangkok.

Don't know where we're going, to be honest.
To get to the Philippines, first fly to Kuala Lumpur, enjoy the food and the girls for a night or two, then fly to the Philippines. Since KL is AirAsia's hub this is dramatically cheaper (2-3x less when I looked) and easier than other options. I don't know why it doesn't show up in flight searches, but you have to book the two tickets separately.
We already booked the tickets for the Philippines, are you saying fly to Kula Lumpur then to Bangkok?

Would have to recommend that people DO NOT fly with AirAsia. Horrible safety record, they literally put off fixing major faults for years. The small saving simply isn't worth the risk, plus you shouldn't support Indonesia in any way; they are a morally bankrupt nation.
