The visa run age is over everywhere but Cambodia. Used to be possible to sleaze by for years without proper papers in Thailand and elsewhere--nearly impossible to get away with it for more than 180 days total per year now.

In Brazil, overstaying your visa is not criminal. The fine is something like R$4.50 a day with a maximum of like 180 days or whatever. To leave on good terms, you take your tourist visa to the PF and they give you an exit order and a boleto. You go pay the R$830 or whatever and keep the receipt. When your visa time resets (usually another 180 days) you can come back in. But if the cops catch you, you won't be deported or fined or anything. They don't care.

What a explanation, amigo macaco. Btw, he is correct. In Brazil there is no restrict law and you can overstay without big problems.

Gf is Russian. She's in Brazil for ten months already. No problems whatsoever. Just pay the fine to leave.

And there never will be. Until it's time for you guys to get a stable union visa so she can get a work book and cartão cor de rosa. Then she just pays the fine and turns in the receipt with the rest of the papers.
