Basically what the title reads. Don't wanna be stuck in an airport for a whole day but if there's nothing really better to do, I'm not sure
Any suggestions from anon?

What about a 6 hour layover in SFO? Research says I can take the transit into town, but if anyone has personal recommendations it'd be appreciated.

Assuming the metropolitan buses run to the airport as well, you can get into Waikiki fairly easily, swim around a bit, drink a $9 Shock Top, watch the sun set, then head back. Only thing to be careful about is rush hour traffic; that could really screw you if you're relying on a metro bus to catch your flight. Not a problem on weekends.
Or if Waikiki isn't your cup of tea you could hike manoa falls or something. Everywhere is accessible by bus.

6 hours is a bit tough because it's about 45 minutes to market st station...there is a movie theater I think at the Daly City station that's literally a 2 minute walk from the train
