i need help planning a route through the countries listed. i know i start in Krakow, poland and i thought it would work quite well being that these are small, neighboring countries.
i'm mostly looking at doing the capital cities with some nature mixed in. can i cut a line from krakow to budapest?

Yes, go via Poprad and Banská Štiavnica and you'll pass through the High Tatrus national park. It's a common route from Krakow, I think you can do it cheaply by train. Then from Budapest city connections are easy.
I've done the route from Bratislava to Krakow once and the route through the Slovakian mountains was amazing. We stopped at Liptovsky Mikulas which is a town just off the route from Krakow to Budapest. Has a big waterpark too. Would definitely recommend doing that trip, all those cities are great
