Anyone work(ed) in the travel industry?
What kinds of jobs are there?
Does a love a travel translate well to customer support, bookings, creating itineraries, etc.?

I was looking through a few listing and something about the jobs seems like it wouldn't be very enjoyable

For a time I interned for an agency in London that specialized in luxury river cruises; it was just a basic kind of office job. I did get to go to the World Travel Market though.

I'm an agent, only part-time- but even full time you won't make enough money to live but you will get lots of travel perks for yourself. Its an exciting career choice as long as you're not in it for the dough!
