I'm visiting Rome next week so wondered if someone had some advice where to visit and some inexpensive tours, activities and so on?

thanks in advance

Vatican. Book a ticket in advance online.

Ok. So I'm planning on moving there. So I'll just brainstorm some random questions.
1. What's the best prepaid solution with good data?
2. How much does food actually cost if you're not a tourist?
3. How is the nightlife? Is there a lot of underground clubs where people just go crazy?
4. What's the average pay for a 2 bedroom apartment?
5. How would would expenses be for one month living? (I tend to stay longer but just need to know for budget reasons)

Vatican museum (Sistine chapel) is overpriced and overrated so I wouldn't bother. If you're seeing the Colosseum, you can buy a ticket across the road at palatine hill, the ticket gets you into both the palace on the hill and the Colosseum. (The Colosseum looks better from the outside imo but I understand most people want to see inside)

Check on google maps where the nearest actual supermarket is and buy food and drink there

I'm sure Rome does a Sandemans free tour. If you don't mind a twenty minute break in a Starbucks, they can be pretty good.

WTF. It's 16euro. I'd quadruple the worth for the frescos alone. I just paid $40 for Art Institute in Chicago.

I enjoyed the Baths of Caracalla, OP. Mosaics that last thousands of years blow my mind.
