hey /trv/ I'll be going to Vegas sometime next week on a family trip. This will be my first time going. Do you guys have any advice of what my group can check out? This considering we have two kids with us
>kids in Vegas
Go to Disneyland
Unless they are 21 dont take the kids.
Vegas is not a family destination. We tried that in the 90s and it failed.
If you are forced to bring the kids. Stay off strip at the Red Rock hotel. Then visit nature. Red rock, mt Charleston , death valley.
Hit up hoover dam.
Enjoy some time at the pool (eye candy for you and the wife)
Take in some of the more family frendly shows on the strip.
But in really. If you havr kids go to cali/disney land or florida/disney world.

Dude, there are literally hoards of random guys handing out flyers and business cards to hire prostitutes. Half naked women posing for pictures. Degenerate gamblers LITERALLY BEGGING FOR MONEY EVERYWHERE YOU GO! Drug dealers on every corner. Slot machines in the fucking grocery stores and gas stations. Open alcohol is also legal. So you have drunks everywhere too.
Just avoid the strip and go to Freemont Street, DuPars has a great after midnight pancake deal.

You also have these cars that drive up and down the streets 24/7 to promote their prostitutes.
>It's called sin city for a reason
I went there 15 years ago when I was 12.
It's a good memory and there's ton of shit to do for kids.
We had a car though, just roaming was fun and we did an afternoon in the desert.
Can't be more precise to what I did, some attractions in that hollywood hotel, visit the crazy casinos like Paris Paris or shit like that.
I'm from Europe so just seeing this kind of stuff was crazy enough for me, maybe if the kids are 14yo girls that hate everything they'll get bored but even them will find good pictures to take for instagram.
Hoover damn is fun and if you have the cash Blue Man group is good for everybody. I'll be heading there in April for 3 days. Could use some LPT for things on the vice side.....
OP here. just got to Vegas not too long ago. thanks for the tips guys

Wow, I only just remembered that my family went to Vegas in the late '90s, for some reason.
I went again back in 2013 and enjoyed myself. I did all the things we hadn't done back then i.e. Fremont St., Red Rock, etc. Still stayed on the Strip (again, with my family, again). It was interesting to see the fall of Rome one night and the next morning it was all cleaned up as though nothing had happened.

Kids = bad vegas trip, guaranteed. Used to live there. Went to the strip from time to time till I had kids. Never went to the strip again.
They won't be allowed anywhere.
They won't be able to walk anywhere.
You won't be able to relax with them there.
You will look around and regret seeing everyone who is at least 50x happier than you at that exact moment because they don't have kids.
You won't leave your hotel so get used to swimming and the worst basic cable ever.
