Hi,
Frenchfag here, i'm going to Indonesia in July, which part/island would you recommend to enjoy culture and beautiful/empty beaches ? I'm also into snorkelling.

Java is nice, so are areas of Bali (avoid Kuta if you want culture)

stay in one of the homestays outside of Ubud, I did and it was fantastic, got to clean the guy's pigs and stuff, feed his cows

also the Gili isles are good for diving/snorkelling, you can see turtles and shit
