Go hike the great wall. Go to the Mutianyu portion not Badaling.

You take a ski lift up to the top from the parking lot. Then you toboggan down at the end of the day. Hike all the way to the end of the restored section. Ignore all of the signs that say end of tourist area. Keep going. Find a cool looking brick to take home. Leave really early, its pretty far from the city center. You can spend all day there.
