South Sudan looks pretty nice from what I've seen on their state TV. Christian majority, normal western supermarkets, fast food chains, and hotels. Everyone was wearing pastel shirts and looking generally civilized. Their territory was once part of Egypt, after all

Might be sort of fun, but really I have more places I really want to go on my list than I am going to be able to get to for many years, so I doubt I'd follow through n visiting some random place that was not on my list.

I got Denmark. My most recent solo trip was to Copenhagen, and that was not even 2 months ago. I liked it there (especially Christiania) but wouldn't go back too soon. Transportation is crazy expensive.
