did you guys ever do some backpacking in SEA?
if so, i have a few questions for you:
1) is it possible to reach the interesting parts of the national parks with public transportation or do you need to have your own vehicle?
2) how to find cheap hostels there? i found some via various apps, but they appeared to be just as expensive as most ones in the western world
3) is it wise to camp outside in the wilderness or sleep on the streets, in case you dont get a hostel in time?
