Is it possible to enjoy a two night stay in Paris on ~200 euros? I impulsively booked the trip a while ago but now that it's approaching I'm really short on cash.

I don't have a place to stay yet, just coaches there and back. I assume a hostel will be ~£15/night.
I've never been to Paris before, I just want to have a look around, soak up the ambiance, practice my French and get drunk with locals in the evenings.

book a youth hostel, it will be like 15-20 bucks a night and relatively comfy

I spend 15 eur on a weekend Paris. Nightbus back and forth and couchsurfing.
go to a hostel in the north of Paris, so you can visit montmartre easy, also there is pigalle which has lots of bars but also a lot of shady bars so be careful.
getting drunk with locals is easier when you speak french though. My favorite places to go drinking: rue oberkampf (at metrostop menilmontant), rue mouffetard (near place monge), or just go to Bastille.
count on paying up to 10 euros for a pint, 5 or as low as 3 when it's happy hour (usually from 17.00 until 21.00)
museums are free if you're under 26

And go very early. The queues are huge, and it can take hours to get in.
