No one reasonable would deny that there is a point when a thread is posted enough that it becomes spam. The issue is that the pedo/pony threads are borderline cases for spam vs random content bc of their volume. On one hand, it seems inconsistent to generally forbid them on a "random" board. On the other, there's something intuitively wrong with posting the same threads (/topics) with regularity ("official").
I think the problem lies with the pedo/pony people themselves. Don't ban all instances of pedo/pony content, since that's against the boards soul. But the pedo/pony people need to stop evading the fact there aren't any other massive general threads like theirs, nor the spillover threads that spawn from them. It makes the board shittier because you come to associate the board with being at least 20-40% filler/niche content.
The pedo/pony people are myopic if they refuse to see how posting devoted, large, daily threads will cause problems with others. There is no need to get hot headed - I think >>4891360 is right. Why not do this? Only if you wanted your own way at the expense of others would you demand these daily threads go on.
