i mean like, what is the fox equivalent of lmao9pl8 diddly for a bear? the difference in body weight alone would obviously affect their ability to lift, and even if two species were of similar weights, the contrasts in biomechanical levers would make a big difference as well

I imagine it's kind of a combination of Army PT standards plus Westminster Dog Show judging, as strange as that sounds. Each particular species has its own "ideal" level of fitness, which they've delineated based on an appraisal of the average strength of across said species. Thus, a fox could be lifting far less weight than a bear, but still be considered stronger because he's doing far more work relative to his species.
