The two core things is that, first, the first big chunk of this is expository stuff giving the reader this sustained info-dump. It's info I like, but I feel like it could be handled differently to not be so kind of plain-y feeling. Second, Wilde being a hard bisexual is something I like, but how he's acting seems... yeah, you said you that there will be an explanation, so I'll reserve judgement.
But still, in the broad terms, this is pretty well-written stuff. Good job.

It's just extremely hard not to use a relationship as a crutch to give a character an immediate foil in an easy way; you can just go oh, look, they're together and that's the dynamic, wheee. Otherwise with pastor, you're using a macguffin to bypass emotional work and investment to get to a kinda creepy mindbreak place anymore. (Not that it can't be done well, but the prompt was getting a lot of use lately.) Either way, and then they all fugged.
I think it's done because it makes the writing feel a little easier, because they're well known prompts and parameters we've worked with before and had the most exposure to, and they get (you)s and views.
The Dez and Molly fic has the fewest views out of any I wrote, because it's not NickxJudy (the big draw here) or flat out porn of OC's. And that's fine with me. Their stuff is a total labor of love since they brought me to /trash/ in the first place and I just enjoy their dynamic from what Chumpy told me about his characterization.
