Use the comment function when saving to easily identify if you got the correct savefile.
Reducing initial and current debt took some tries until it worked, didn't notice why.
You have to pass a couple of days of secretary maid comments where she goes: "you have returned half the debt... you have almost paid the debt..." until it is officially paid you can start hiring maids.
Or you could just set the flag to "debt paid" in the savefile, but I prefered the other method.

Well you definitely got the right ideas with your meidos but your face work seriously needs some work.
Its always hard to say what to change though, for me I find it easier to work on a preset rather than to suggest thing.
Maybe try reducing the head width and increase the heigth a bit
I like the way the pubic hair with the proper custom primary/shadow coloration makes for a good fur effect.
I wonder if you could make a custom pubic hair that covers the body at strategic places to give a proper fur coat effect.

Three threads ago, a week ago, i questioned why everyone in the entire thread thought it best to blindly shitpost in my direction because they were triggered by my maid's tattoos. The hongfire patch translation and uncensor files should have added the vagina textures as tattoos.

You should be able to get my version of the maids if you check if we have the same mods, put the files in your folder and load my savegame.
I omitted the mods and stuff that are in the OP like the furry mod and the DLC content, maybe some redundancy slipped in.
I don't know if the custom slider settings are saved in the standard preset, but if you don't want to bother with my savegame you can read the settings with in the SaveData056.save.exsave.xml and adjust manually, or just copy the settings to your saves xml file.

Classes are earned by grinding daytime/nighttime activities and stats.
At the first part of the game you can do a maid exam every 10 days to unlock new classes.
After unlocking a class you can change the maids class any time.
After paying the debt you can check your maids for new classes every day.
Unlocking nighttime classes and getting rid of trainee status requires 10 nights of night service, it's enough to just do cute pose 1 time every night. You could also make two maids do maid training, but it's less fast as far as I know.
Grinding a class to 10 gives a good permanent stat bonus.

You'll eventually run out of new sex positions to unlock, this is when you'll want to change your maids nighttime class.
I'd recommend grinding her current class up to 10 so she gets a boost to her stamina, giving her less trouble performing the more costly new sex positions that she'll learn in her new class.
Once you have payed off the debt you should have lots of achievements unlocked.
This gives you a big chunk of starting stats that you can give your new maids, giving them enough to earn a new class instantly.

Yeah, trying to recreate a cartoon character with an anime style game engine is tricky business and results may vary.
My early rendition looked similar to yours until I decided to go for completely black eyes and weird yellow custom hair that blends more with the fur color... if you squint and are drunk...
I also chose the cat ears as glasses mod because the size kinda fit more and I hoped to camouflage the hair a bit better that way.
Rajirra would actually be easier to do because of the hair and slightly less day-glo-yellow fur color.

I think if there was a pink one and a darker/brownish one that would probably cover most bases.
I tried to counteract nipple distortion by using a cage transformation on the texture of the tricky nips that went inwards where the nips on the maid distorted outwards.
Didn't work as expected so I changed the placement to where the skin stretches less on most poses.
If someone finds a tattoo mod that features custom colors post here so I can steal the menu structure.

Well, it's more or less fine so far. The "hair-colored" ears and tails show up as a puke green, at least in the character creator. And now that I've ordered my first maid, none of the dialogue between me and her is translated. I read over the instructions and I don't think I'm missing anything. Was there some option in the HF patch I checked when I shouldn't have or perhaps left unchecked when I needed it? The instructions just say to install it

Night service with maid 10 days until her inexperience stat went from 100 to 50.
Do the maid examination to unlock new classes leading to new animations.
Posing her one time is enough to accomplish that so you don't get bored by the same fuck animations or if you want to keep your maid a virgin for the cuck VIP events (fresh maid with good starting stats at the advanced game is better suited for that anyway).

The dialog translation is rudimentary, mostly your clickable dialogue options.
You have to get the most out of context of watching your maids reaction and hentai game tropes.
Supervise maid and talk to maid before night service for relationship stat increase if you want to waifu your maid and unlock more outfits.
If you can't talk to your maid she needs an upper and lower dress piece.
The dancer set has that problem as it counts as underwear.

Choose a hair part that has a custom color (free/mugen) option, change the color and remove the hair strand again.
I usually go for "ahoge" optional loose hair strands to do that.
Alternatively change your main hair color with the free icon until the ears/tail color is right, then pick a standard color again.

There's work on robot translation plugins (games text output gets sent to an online translation site as you play) but I didn't delve into that material to judge how complicated that process is and how far the modders have come with their work.

I think the game doesn't just upscale, the antialiasing is crisper from what I can see, I could be wrong, though.
Working on modified custom color fur skin with a dark central patch instead of a bright one.
Good: I managed to get my mod added to the list of possible options under the furry mod skins.
Bad: Got FUCKED by my lack of understanding how to get the custom color mugen menu to show up. I copied the mugen skin mod, injected my modified mugen skin but can't get to its menu structure where I'm sure the error is hidden.
I even downloaded sybaris but the moonrunes prevent me from extracting stuff from the furry mod, I managed to view it, but can't get to the goods.
That's stuff I can already do with ModEditor.
Cracking the code on the custom color option would be the key to get the Multinips mod to work better as well.

I managed to get a custom color menu that is linked to the hair.
I'll try to get it to do the same stuff with the body color or I'll link it to the pubic hair as an alternative.
Next step: improve the actual texture file. It's way too shoddy because I suck at gimp.
Hypothetical future custom mods that my knowledge unlocked: Custom cow texture skin so we can properly make cow maids.

How do I install mods? Do I just dunk them into /mod/ folder, move .mod files into /mod/? Because that's what I did and had troubles loading presets.

Oh I will say you have to unzip/extract the mods then move their folders into the mod folder in the main game. I had some issues with 7zip not extracting rars properly, but rarzilla did them all fine.
Custom color nipples are still being worked on.
I am supposed to already have a menu in my .arc file??? Are mods supposed to inject that automagically?
Without a menu I can't load it again in ModEditor, without a mod I can't set the color to the main nipples.
The mod guide on Hongfire doesn't actually explain the structure of a .mod file... It's some sort of container.
I'm kinda confused, the lack of custom color tattoos is still disheartening.
Maybe it'll get reborn in a pubic hair slot if the texture area isn't too restricted.
Adding more fur patterns works now. I did two custom color variants that pick the color from the custom skin color or custom hair color.

It's an old issue with the furry skin mod that we tackled in the older threads.
You need to cut/paste the content of the following mod subfolder:

If you downloaded the "Installed mods.7z" and extracted that into the C:/KISS/CM3D2/mod/ folder you should be able to load the presets if you cut/paste the mod files from their subfolder "âPâéâmâZâbâg\mod\âPâéâmâ{âfâB\ " into the /mod/ folder.
It's exactly the files from your screenshot and you'll be able to select more furry skin colors, also the vagina tattoo shouldn't vanish from the red fox skin any more.

The "furry custom color skins not showing up" fix wasn't reproduced in the archive of mods I uploaded along with my presets.
That's why the file structure differs if you install from scratch and the game can't find the mods in the same place they were in when I saved those presets.

Quick and dirty:
Change the nipple texture of my multinips/hexanips mod that you don't use and convert the .png files to .tex.
Instant green nipples, you just burned a multinips/hexanips slot.
If you want to learn how to edit the menu file you can copy the mod, change the filenames, change the menu entries and create a new slot with your green nipple variation.
TRU SPRKL: Make your own skin texture with neon green nipples, star markings, garish clashing fur colors and everything. Copy one of the other fur skin mods and rename the files + menus.

CM3D2Tool allows you to extract the contents of the game's .arc archives. It's unlikely that the base game has an actual vagina drawn on the skin texture, simply because such effort would be unnecessary for something that's censored by default. I wouldn't be surprised if it were just a line. If you want textures with actual vaginas on them, use the FemaleUncensor set.

Sadly I couldn't get the custom colour fur to work as the colour selector just won't appear for some reason and I can't for the life of me figure out why. If you want to still use custom fur colour you will have to copy mod_skin_kmn_mugen_i_.mod

Here's why your freecolor skin didn't work (pic related).
I would suggest to change your mod naming procedure next time so it doesn't replace the other mods.
For example instead of:
mod_skin_kmn_ldark_i_.mod
mod_skin_kmn_mugen2_i_.mod
Go for:
mod_skin_kmn_ldarkG_i_.mod
mod_skin_kmn_mugen2G_i_.mod
etc...
They would all pop up as extra entries in the skin list (extra descriptions and icons would be nice as well, stupid busywork, I hate changing icons.)
Alternatively we could try to make them a new menu+sub menu by editing this mod:

This mod is basically just the folder structure for the kemono skins that picks up all mods with the filter mod_skin_kmn_*_i_.mod and ads them as sub-options.
