When Bun sort of fell off the map after her parents found out about her and Red, some anons assumed it was because she was avoiding Red.
And I guess ARGs in general are dying down as a genre, but it's neat to see interactive fiction going the way of Youtube, starting with all that Slenderman stuff. They're starting to branch out more and more, and it's exciting.
I do wish there were more not-spooky interactive fiction things, though, but I guess the layer of interaction helps the scare-factor.

He finds some success, catches a few eyes, gets a taste of the good life. For now.
The Undercover Cop AU was Judy sticks with the parking detail a bit longer before deciding that if Bogo doesn't want to deal with her, she will be someone else's problem. She goes to the undercover unit, they think they have a use for her, a new drug is hitting the streets in a big way.
Meanwhile, Nick is being held against his will by the new head of Mister Big's crime family; his daughter died days before her wedding, very tragic. They want to settle the debt that Nick holds; they don't want money, they want him to work for them. They have a shipment coming through and they know he has connections.

If between the comic about the crystals, there were posts about how it would work out okay immediately after the comic ends because whatshisface could just resummon Judy after doing something. And among all the depression talk was advice about depression, medication, positive outlooks, and ComicAnon being his relentlessly cheerful self.
If someone needs nothing but pure sunlight and kittens to avoid killing themselves, they're dead already. If there's enough of a flicker of hope left in them, they can pick through the bad to get to the good. That's what 4chan is about. That's what LIFE is about.
The thread can't be the last line between someone and suicide. That's a completely ridiculous concept. The best tabletop experience I ever had was our party interrogating a goblin. They had just raided a supply caravan we were supposed to be guarding, and killed a cool NPC and his family, all save for one child that they took with them. We tracked them to their cave, planned, cleared it out with minimal injuries, and captured the last remaining goblin.
Now the kid wasn't in the cave, there were more tunnels leading off to god knows where, and lot of questions that needed answering. The gobling wasn't talking.
One our guys and the DM got REALLY into it. The DM was sitting in his chair at the end of the table, RP'ing as the gobling tied to a tree. Our guy gets up and walks around him in circles, barkign questions. The goblin/DM spits curses back. Our guy throws a fake punch, barely missing DM's face, but DM throws himself like he'd been hit, sagging in his chair. Our guy screamed at him again, the DM cowered, and muttered something about 'filthy humans'. He got another hit.
We watched in silence for a full 5 minutes while our guy mock beat, tortured, and tormented the DM, both perfectly in character. After he had what he wanted, he slit the goblin's throat.

Well, the Gilded Era story has a lot of elements; Angela's Ashes and a story that Clunkbot wrote that had a lot of similar themes to it, Zistopia's soft spot for the 70s, the proliferation of Bounce Houses in Zootopia likely stemming from a migration of Rabbits into the city, likely because of a drought/dust bowl/cataclysm, then I took some from my grandfather's life living with an abusive father on a farm in West Pennsylvania. I also just really like Brad Pitt in Snatch.
The Undercover AU came from this fic I read where Judy gets reassigned to be Undercover and becomes a bouncer of an illegal club. It seemed really awkward and I started thinking about the concept in Zystopia because it was big(ger) at the time, I thought "would they put the Calm Collars on prey who had committed violent crimes?" That was neat, but I think it didn't add enough to the story. Sure, it's funny that she would have to pretend to be shocked on occasion, but it makes the undercover work more difficult to see working.

Hello Zooter troopers. an insignificant but long time 5 Furries Pizza & Asbestos poster here. I'll admit ive been lurking about here because of the highly cozy communal atmosphere, which brings back nostalgic days. After a while i noticed a rise in fetish posting, thirst posting, and even shitposting. As bad as these may seem, its all but a part of being on 4chan. And we all know deep down it shouldn't bother us. Some of the native posters here are even guilty of shitposting too, but we'll never know who~ But its a cycle, Content posting and all other kinds of posting is what makes a general what it is. In the end, its the community built between anons and anons who became content creators that matter. I've watched the past few threads delve into some shitstorms and incredibly intense thirstposting. Some OCfags from the 5N@F were getting a bit shit, but of course they took it in stride. Still, the vitriol was sad. I guess some of the caustic shitposters from 5N@F have followed them here and settled in. My advice to you is just to stay the course, cause shitposting can easily be ignored. Unless of course your weaver, who has to respond to all of it. Carry on with your good times, because in the end that's what really matters. And besides, this is /trash/. their are far worse things on this site and other sites.
I've decided to speak now since the other night other fnaf anons here were stating there enjoyment of the coziness as well as showing not every single one of us is a frothing at the mouth caustic cuck. I honestly think its wonderful that a blossoming community has formed. Its incredibly heart warming and amazing. This is what makes Generals very great places to drop by alot. I wanna give everyone here the feeling of knowing that many content makers of various mediums have the ability to create great things. Hell some of you may have futures in animation, or even Disney.
