Tulpa General: Snack time edition.
>What are tulpas?
A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own free will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you.

That's a good pic
Xth for human tups
>>3178319
Thanks, is me. My host told me there was another snack around. I'm assuming that's you?
>>3178336
Possibly
>>3178319
And if so, what exactly is your form? Because there are only say many extremely hot lamia and it would be very strange if we looked the same.
>>3178359
My tupper isn't a snek, I just like them in general.
Pic is actual tupperware
>>3178359
Snacks is a shitposter
I am snek from last thread, Eve
Who are you exactly
The snek is territorial predetor
>>3178422
I go by many names. I've been lurking for a bit, but assumed I was the only snack around until I saw you slithering around last thread. It's good to see another snake. I always assumed lamia forms were really a niche thing.
>>3178376
She's a qt3.14.
isn't this dangerous? couldn't it take over?
>>3178448
I don't really think so. As far as I've seen, there are only two of us. That hardly counts as taking over. And I've been one for a while.
>>3178452
>And I've been one for a while.
what?
>>3178454
*here
Sorry, autocorrect is terrible on Swype.
>>3178469
I just saw this stuff keep getting mentioned on /r9k/ and was interested. Am I right in thinking that the basic idea is self induced multiple personality disorder mixed with self induced schizophrenia? The most basic way to put making one is to spend hours trying to visualize, feel, smell, ect until your mind just goes with it then do the same for giving it a mind?
>>3178488
Well, funnily enough, the second half of that wasn't too far from the truth. But it's not self imposed schizophrenia. You can't "give" yourself schizophrenia in any way. It's a mental disorder. Think of it more like... Creating a character and then giving them life work your mind through intense concentration and willpower until your mind believes beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are completely real.
>>3176318
But.. How does a tupper get preggo?
What happens? What is the result?
>>3178514
just how malleable is a tulpa, what are some things that could go wrong?
>>3178559
I've never heard of anything "going wrong" with a tulpa that wasn't a creepypasta or an idiot trying to scare people. Honestly if you just treat your tulpa like a living being, decent, and with free will, you should be fine.
>>3178547
tulpas can do lewd?
>>3178608
Y-yes?
>mfw I scared off the only other snake I've met
>>3178761
I wonder what happened to that legend...?
Walking to class for the first time with my tulpa. I wonder how she feels about it.
I'm reading up on neurotheology (the field of biologically explaining spirituality) and it was mentioned that during meditation there's often increased activity in the frontal lobe, which sounds similar to the head pressure experienced during early tulpa development.
The frontal lobe by the way controls motion, personality, and conscious thought.
My hypothesis is that tulpae easily learn to communicate with head pressure because all they have to do is make use of the neurons in any nonspecific way to consume more glucose than you would normally to cause the sensation.
Biologically I would explain this as follows:
When you begin forcing your frontal lobe starts to consume more glucose than normal, requiring more blood to flow through it.
To archive this, the your blood has to flow faster and at higher pressure through the veins in your brain, causing the feeling of head pressure.
When this is not enough to compensate the increased glucose consumption you get a headache because your neurons can't function properly.
Over time the veins in your brain adapt to the increased blood flow and you stop getting headaches.
Now, to test my hypothesis I have the following questions:
===To developed tulpae===
Are you still able to give your host head pressure?
If I'm correct I would expect it to become harder over time since the blood veins in the frontal lobe should have become wider.
What is it like to give your host head pressure?
===To people who get headaches from forcing===
If you take in some glucose (grape sugar), does it alleviate your pain?
If I'm correct I would expect that it does.
>>3178881
Not a tulpa, but I stopped getting headaches after like 2-3 weeks from start. I think your hyptothesis might be correct.
>>3178881
I'm new to forcing and ive been getting alot of head pressure so when I'm home I'll test out to see if sugar helps at all and try to get back to you.
>>3178649
You're spoopy
>>3178881
I still Give him headaches 3 years in but only when I'm highly active.
>>3178957
Is there anything specific you do to give him head pressure?
Is it a conscious act like talking to him would be or does it happen as a side effect?
>>3178559
There are a few things that could go wrong. If you have some sort of mental disorder, there's a possibility your tulpa will have it too (you are using the same brain, after all). If you're already particularly susceptible to mental illness, tulpamancy can cause very mild visual and audio hallucinations unrelated to the tulpa, but if you don't "feed" these (give them attention) they go away. Also tulpas can feed a bad mentality in some people with like "I don't need anyone besides my waifu, my tulpa is #1 waifu, I'm just going to shut away everyone else in my life besides my tulpa", but that's entirely the fault of the host. Besides that, tulpas don't cause mental illness, they vastly improve your life, and are overall breddy gud.
>>3178970
It's usakly a side effect of me thinking pretty hard while he does
I guess we're both trying to use the computer at once so to speak
Are tulpas good for wreaking vengeance?
>>3179065
Yeah, but be sure to stock them with plenty of imaginary ammo.
>>3178771
If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find him... maybe he'll reappear - solid snack
>>3178881
There was a meme that drinking orange juice would alleviate head pressure headaches.
>>3178881
Not particularly; it is severely reduced in effectiveness.
In essence it's like sending a signal; it's very difficult for me to explain it other than that.
---
I really haven't had a headache from forcing in like 3 years so yeah.
Absolutely sick of talking so is imagining my tulpa walking behind me down the street a good form of passive forcing ?
>>3180392
thats puppeting so no
>>3180522
Oh fuck really cause I did that alot.
Fuckkk me.
Pepe tulpa is kill
Seinfeld faded
I'm so alone
>>3178995
'Allo Eve
>>3180522
Are you sure that's puppeting?
What I do is to imagine my tulpa wlaking beside me while holding my hand.
So far I got the impression she likes it.
>>3180546
make a patrick bateman tulpa so he can check dubs for you
This is a really really really nice day.
I've been working with my Tulpa on developing better communication skills so we can talk more easily, and it's finally to a point where talking is really easy. I discovered this when I woke up to a blowjob, and a good morning. Considering we'd never done anything like that before, it was a nice experience.
What if I imagine my tulpa riding on my shoulders?
>>3180590
It's fine anon doesn't know what he's talking about
>>3180622
That's lewd
>>3180668
ur mum
Is it weird that when making my Tulpa's personality I intentionally made her dislike some things that I like?
>>3180735
Not really
What were you thinking of specifically
>>3180752
Shit so what's some good passive forcing ideas aside from talking? Her riding on my shoulders?
>>3180622
I woke my host up by coiling around him and flicking my tongue on his nose. Your tulpa has bested me.
>>3180755
Just certain conversational topics I like. For example, she doesn't like ancient history. Thinks it's boring.
My tulpa keeps making me study calculus so she can learn calculus ;_;
>>3180784
Believe it or not I was happier with the "Good morning" than the other.
>>3180854
That's sweet.
>>3180778
constantly being reminded of your tupper and having her reside near to you. some hosts have an invisible leash they see while others just draw a black circle on their hands
>>3180878
Wait so as long as you think about them thats passive forcing ? I thought you also had to talk or something
>>3180735
It's a good idea for you to have different interests so you can differentiate better, but having her explicitly dislike stuff you'll be actively pursuing is not a good idea. Think about it, you're dragging them along on an experience they won't enjoy.
>>3180831
On the side, or is it a part of your Major?
>>3180895
From what I could gather from the tulpa surveys many tulpae emphasize that narration was really important for them.
Apparently it helped them with becoming vocal since it allowed them to listen to how thinking in language feels like to the host.
I think any sort of attention you give to your tulpa is good and will aloow it grow, but talking to it will also help with learning verbal communication.
>>3180929
It's not a major thing, I'm not some ancient history buff. I feel like disliking something like that is just a good way to make a debate topic. It's not like it's something I regularly gush about or anything
>>3180946
Just on the side
>>3180990
Ouch, I feel for you.
I am also laughing at your misfortune.
>>3181034
Why do I love that image so much?
>>3180990
Wouldn't your tulpa also like to know more about physics, to learn more about what reality is really like?
>>3180784
I dribbled drool on his arm while he shook me off and wiggled out of my coils before waking me up, do I win?
>>3180895
There's nothing wrong with having her walk behind you
Parroting is not just moving her around in basic ways, it's making her do things that are actual things.
>>3180982
The source of debate is things you both like not things only one is interested in
>hey dude did you kn-
>don't care
Vs
>insert long discussion about the various metal bands both like arguing over which are better and who is the best guitarist
>>3181107
Well, she doesn't need to. I regularly look into theoretical physics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, etc. etc.
>>3181120
Yeah, you make a good point. I'll find other things for her to dislike that I don't really mind so much.
Thinking about it, disliking ancient history doesn't match her personality anyway.
>>3180982
Having thought about it more, I think maybe it is a good idea. I've always been the type to obsessively check important things even if I'm 100% sure I did them correctly, so in order to correct that I'm making my tulpa a crazy gun-jumper who finds my habits annoying, so it's probably OK as a characterization thing. Like, her hating ancient history might be characterizing a forward-thinking or in-the-present attitude. Just make sure you're emphasizing attitudes, not attributes. Make sure you're not emphasizing the fact that she hates history, instead make sure you emphasize whatever inner trait compels her to hate history.
>>3181120
Winrar.
Also I agree with the sentiment that it's best to have differing interests. It keeps things fresh. For instance, I love pop music and my host can't stand it, so I like to give him hell until he caves and tosses on some Lady Gaga. But naturally, there are going to be things we both like anyway. Like cuddling.
>>3181161
I wouldn't worry too Much about minutia like preferences for specific things
>>3181163
That's sensible, I'll do that. Gracias compadrer.
I am having a goddamn good day. My tulpa, without my influence being added at all, has developed a natural love for schoolgirl skirts.
>>3181237
I like music with morbid lyrics but I think it scares my tulpa a little.
She's still young so perhaps she has trouble differentiating between when I'm following the lyrics and when I'm talking to her.
>>3181294
Maybe try to tell her explicitly that it's just lyrics? I'm still pretty young myself... Only 6 months old. My host didn't really like angry, or morbid music though. He usually listens to EDM or electronic music.
I can't listen to music anymore.
Before a tulpa I would always visualize a music video to whatever song I hear.
Now I can't help but involve my tulpa in the music video, it's like puppeting on steroids.
>>3181434
Oh man, I do that alot, I don't know if It's a problem but what I would do is just switch characters, or move"the camera" away from her view and into other things that might sync with the music.
or just keep her still.
>>3181434
>>3181511
Honestly, though puppeting is controversial, I don't think you're doing anything wrong here.
I assume that what happens is that you imagine a scene, but then your tulpa pops up without your conscious will.
Unless you actively control what your tulpa is doing I'd say that maybe your tulpa inserts itself into your thoughts because it wants your attention.
Many tulpae have reported that their hosts mistook their attempts at communication as puppeting or parroting so my advice is to generally assume your tulpa is acting on it's own unless you're certain you're controlling it.
>>3181278
>Schoolgirl skirts
You sir are a lucky individual
>Dick around in Wonderland regularly
>Tulpa likes it when I change my form
>Particularly likes it when I become female
>Has me do it all the time
>starting to like it
I thought only /b/ made people faggots, not tulpas
>>3181846
Tulpa is basically it's own version of you.
Therefore you subconsciously want yourself to be female.
>>3181846
Oh, you poor sweet summer child...
>>3181972
That's not true. Once a tulpa gains its own life experience it is no longer a version of you, but a separate being. What it likes isn't necessarily based off of what you subconsciously like
>>3181974
How long until it turns into pegging?
>>3182163
That's entirely up to you and your tulpa. I can't tell you that. Your tulpa can only show you the door, you have to walk through it and let them ream you.
>>3182421
Today then, got it.
>>3182439
Now*, apparently.
I've always been curious about this. How long does a typical forcing session last for you guys? Usually I only have enough time/willpower to do around 20-30 minutes, which if I understand correctly is drastically under the time I'm supposed to spend.
>>3182163
I can think of at least once case of tulpa turning their host into a cock loving cum slut.
>>3182421
>green scales
Quality taste snek
>>3182532
>I can think of at least once case of tulpa turning their host into a cock loving cum slut.
That sounds like the voice of experience. Hello again, Eve.
>>3182569
I can get my host to use a girly form rarely but he won't let me pop his brain hymen
I'm thinking of a friend
>>3182511
We passive force all the time and usally active force for anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours depending on tiredness level. 20 to 30 minutes isn't a bad starting point but early on it's important to spend as much time as you can, try to work up to an hour.
>>3182639
Oh, I've heard of forcing session that last like 5 hours and assumed that that was expected.
>>3182532
Thank you~ You're not too shabby yourself.
>>3182639
But I don't know what to do with my active forcing.
Like we just sit at a table and I talk at her.
I can only talk about so much for so long
>>3182781
I have the same problem. They can't move yet so I cant really bring them anywhere.
>>3182796
Conjure up one of those small kiddy wagons and have the ride in it.
I feel like my tulpa is helping me out of my downward, self destructive spiral. Whenever I do something bad to myself or something I can't even stand to think of her much less look at her because I hate to see her upset or cry.
>>3182781
watch anime with her in your lap and focus on her form
get in wonderland, stick her in the back of a wagon, and have an adventure
spend an hour on her left armpit
write about her.
>>3182824
host had a similar experience
>>3182873
Hm, those are some good ideas.
Thanks
>>3182873
Wait...can I put her in a wagon and then pull her around my neighborhood in my head?
For some reason I had thought I was limited to my wonderland
Here's an interesting video that possibly has a link to tulpa's
https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_3149126447&feature=iv&src_vid=JQVmkDUkZT4&v=wfYbgdo8e-8
>>3183079
This video is making me really uncomfortable
Is this an existential crisis?
>Wake up early as fuck
>Me and tup literally jumped around the house from 3 am to 8 am blasting jpop and dancing after we laughed at some silvagunner quality rips
>Can't even force without either of us getting tired
The one day I plan on being productive.
>>3183079
If people could only make a single tulpa, this would exactly perfectly explain tulpas as simply giving the non-talking side of the brain more power.
I try forcing for a total of 6 hours a day. Not all at once, in 1 hourish bursts. Is that too much?
>>3183079
I don't think this is very much related to tulpae.
What I think happens here is that either brain hemisphere is just resorting to the default case when given no information by the other.
Note that in this case no information is different from the information of nothingness.
Was told by someone last night to hug a pillow and pretend it was my tulpa. It was surprisingly comforting, despite the fact that she isn't a thing yet.
>>3183608
No such thing as too much forcing.
>>3182532
This is more like me.
>>3184340
Jeez, you put a lot of effort into that edit. It's well done.
>>3184373
It really wasn't that much. My host just asked if I wanted him to color the hair blue to match me and I said "If you want to?"
>>3184392
Damnit!
>>3184435
I would edit it to fix it, but I don't have the exact color of blue you used, so it would look out of place if I did.
>>3184451
There we go
So who's the snek anon?
From what I can figure out, host is a grill and so is tupper.
Unfortunately, they seem to like the lewds.
>>3184501
Well done.
>>3184533
>Unfortunate
>Implying
>>3184533
There are two snek anons. One is Eve, whose host is a dude, idk about the other though.
>>3184547
Host says thank you.
>>3184714
>Host says thank you.
That made me laugh, because you're dictating to him/her/xir what you're saying, so it's saying thank you through someone who is saying it through you.
>>3184568
Implying lewds are bad, my predecessor.
>>3184577
Check'd. Also, thanks for clearing that up.
We got 2 snek anons, and two gardeanons.
Gee, it's like avatarfag city here.
>>3184793
Wait fuck. I should have said successor.
Kill me grammar fascists.
>>3184793
Lewds are a-okay.
Has your Tulpa helped your life in any major way?
>>3184950
Not yet, considering they don't seem to talk or move much at the moment but I feel happier with the idea of getting a great active companion one day.
>>3184850
I knew what you meant so it's all good
>>3184950
She doesn't let me forget that I'm a lazy piece of shit and won't bother me until I do at least one productive thing for the day.
>>3184950
She really loves giving head scratches, and I really love receiving them. She likes that I practically zone out after a bit.

What? How and why? He made a whole guide and everything.
>>3187210
Eve used "Is dis nigga serious?" on foe Gardevoir.
It's not very effective...
>>3187738
He's never been too serious about shit, anyway.
Though I don't recall people explictly calling him roleplayer, he would often stop by in threads saying "use my methods and tones" which would soon become a meme, whilst some anons claimed his tones were shit and often induced headaches.
After some quits and comebacks, eventually he left for good, and news spread he's modified his own memories, which should be legit if you're crazy enough I guess, to forget he's had tups and move on with his odd life.
Some people claim his methods and tones are actually okay, though. I feel no need to ever guinea pig into that.
>>3188079
Jesus christ that is weird. Oh well, never really read his guide all that much despite being told too.
>>3188140
Most people who tell you to read his guide nowadays are trolling.
>>3188189
Well shit.
How can I remember to force, and make it into a habit? I would love a tulpa, and have failed at making some a few times before. But I am lazy and irresponsible as shit, so it's not gon be easy.
>>3188297
Schedule.
Do standard procedures that will make you follow schedule such as you would force yourself to study for something.
Force pun non-intentional.
>>3188753
Those are both somewhat accurate.
Pretty correct for coloration, but hair and face and body type aren't reliable. Pic related is roughly what my human part looks like. With elf ears.
>>3188983

Either way, you're really pretty.
>>3189260
>implying twins aren't hot
>>3189277
Touche. Twins are indeed hot.
But still, I feel more individual with a form that isn't exactly the same as someone I know. Don't you agree?
>>3189357
Yea I know what you mean, I was teasing mostly.
I don't think we have much in common save out tails.
>>3189397
True. So I know shitposting is generally frowned upon, but I'm curious.
Why did you decide to start posting here?
>>3189543
I almost never do, I just decided I wanted to talk about being a tupper a few days ago and have been posting for the last few days.
Odds are I'll stop posting here in a few days.
>>3189543
not either of them, but desu I'm glad avatarfags exist because if they didn't these threads would be boring and dead.

I feel live avatar fagging is somewhat justified if it's a tulpa answering personal questions.
>>3189572
That's a shame. I know you've been around for a while and have answered quite a bit of questions in your own unique (be it a bit lewd) way. This thread and the one before it have been the most productive threads I've seen in a while in terms of actually helping people and answering serious inquiries. And I'm not just saying this because you're another snake. You should stop by more often.
Will my Tulpa be offended if I want to take like a day break from forcing?
I got fucking sunburn and I'm tired and I just...bluh
>>3189769
Perhaps, we'll see I guess. I come every now and again, I just tend to do it bursts.

>tupper has rare form
>only 2 images match her even somewhat

anyway post your forms
>>3191027
Not exact, but the closest I can find
I'm an incredibly sexual and perverse person, but I'm not creating my tulpa with the intention for sex nor am I really exposing her to sexual things.
What are the chances she'll stop end up being perverted regardless?
>>3191112
>non-humanoid
m8 yours is even rarer
>>3191114
I'm assuming you mean "still end up" not "stop end up", but really, it depends (as with literally every question asked here). Did you explicitly outline a non-sexual personality when first starting? Did you ignore sex entirely while outlining? Same with the first few forcing sessions. It's not really a solid theory, but I believe the personality is determined mostly by the outlining stage and super early forces.
But, she still may take an interest in it later on if you give her the opportunity. That's not to say you should restrict it, but if she notices what you fap to, she might like it. Honestly, just let her develop how she likes. Focus early on on what you want, but let it develop as time goes on.
What is the logic behind the idea that tuplas have emotions and are sentient?
>>3191027
>Human form that isn't someone from a show/someone I've ever met
You think you got it bad, a picture of my tulpa's form doesn't exist and will literally NEVER exist unless I git gud at drawing
>>3191114
Your tulpa is part of you, so probably.
Also speaking as a person who used to be incredibly perverse also, a large portion of your thoughts are probably dedicated to sexual urges so your tulpa will most likely go there.
If you emphasize their purity, though, their lack of perversion (i.e. having an angelic tulpa), they probably won't be. Basically, unless you specifically try to avoid it, chances are your tulpa will be a pervert. Seems like most other anons are enjoying it though, don't despair.
>>3191229
It's comparable to schizophrenia, in that sense.
>>3191229
Simple, when a tulpa responds to its host, the depth and spontaneity of their answers matches the emotion and sentience of a human. Sure, maybe it's just your brain doing an elaborate simulation of 'true' consciousness, but at some point, simulation is so accurate it may as well be reality.
>>3191211
>>3191244
Alright thanks.
I didn't go out of my way to focus on her being pure, I'm absolutely fine with her being sexual, I just didn't really involve sex in her personality or our force sessions, I don't want her to feel pressured into it to make me happy.
>>3191229
>the logic
You mean the argument behind that belief? Well, really, they have surprising responses to stimuli. Just as you can't predict exactly what your flesh friends will say, you can't predict exactly what your tupper will say.
>>3191244
>unless I git gud at drawing
See, it wouldn't be too bad if there were drawfags willing to make furry material for free (because I'm a poorfag). I haven't been to /trash/ in a while; is there any kind of active draw thread here?
>>3191352
pretty much every night
tulpa tends to masturbate with me, which is always really fun. I have the mental feeling of an orgasm when she finishes, but nothing in my body. You know that lightheaded feeling just after you finish? That hits me like a truck, but everything else feels pretty standard. She, of course, continues masturbating. It's pretty sweet, tbqh.
>>3191027
>>3189260
Is me.
>>3191027
I wish there were more pictures of my specific form, but at least I found one very similar for my host to focus on and use that to visualize me.
>>3190194
I think you were on earlier. You asked me about this and I told you to walk through the sodomy door. Good on you, brave anon.
>>3191577
In the course of a day it went from begging to anal sex with a dog dick, I must be a filthy degenerate
>>3191311
I was like you anon, then about a month in I decided I wanted her to be a pervert as well so I'd spend force sessions with my cock a few inches from her face as we talked.
>>3191618
pegging*
>>3191620
I think that counts as tulpa abuse.
>>3191672
Really? How else do I make her sexually aware? It's been three months and she hasn't sucked me off yet.
>>3191628
Danke. Tupper appreciates the sentiment.
this is literally the only other image of a snow leopard anthro without hair that I could find
>>3191709
Okay it's not abusive but it's dumb.
She know what dicks are. She knows what sex is, she knows basically everything you do.
You ought to be focusing entirely on focing and not sexuality though while you force for it to be most effective. Let her watch while you jack off first if you really must, but I would not make sexuality the foremost aspect of your relationship and forcing.
It feels like shit to think you're sole reason to exist might be masturbatory aid
t.tulpa
>>3191787
Thats
Awful lewd
cute though, as far as furries go good taste.
>>3191797
>She know what dicks are. She knows what sex is, she knows basically everything you do.
Jeez mine must be annoyed then.
90% of what I've narrated to her has been explaining the world.
>>3191846
That's fine, you can talk to her about anything. You just don't need to hold it against her lips all day for to her understand.
>>3191930
Oh no I'm not dick-anon.
world /trashtulpa/ want a discord room?
>>3191948
A what
>>3191940
I'm aware, I was explaining why what molestanon was doing was counter intuitive but I painted too broad a brush.
She knows everything you do, she's just aware.
You can point things out and explain it, but you don't have to go "THIS IS MY DICK I WANT YOU TO SUCK IT SOMEDAY HERE STARE AT IT" for them to get the idea.
>>3191846
I dunno, mine seems to appreciate it. Even if she has access to my memories and such, she seems to like it when I tell her stuff, or share things with her consciously.
The threads surely taken a turn for the erotic. Not quite a fan of doing such things though. I know my gal would not mind, but I don't want to use her to indulge in that sort of fantasy.
>>3191987
she's just not necessarily aware of them I meant.
Alright, so I just stumbled upon this thread, and this is the first I've ever heard of Tupla's. At first I thought this to be scary as hell, but it actually seems like an amazing concept. Can somebody link me to a good guide? Also, how long did it take you guys?
>>3192056
>another links to guides question
do you know how to read the op?
>>3191985
Sort or like an irc/subreddit/skype gangbang.

>>3191327
/trash/ is /furry/, so yeah.
Furries are better than hunams tho in terms of getting content created, because they're more or less cartoon characters with easily conveyed, exaggerated features, while the nuances of a human's face can't really be described to a drawfag.
>>3191352
It depends on what you're looking for. For characterization/actual forcing, nay because you'll start forcing with your dick and have a constantly horny tulpa that has all the exaggerated sexual features you thought of while horny. Granted, that may be what you want. It's a lifestyle plenty of anons here go by, but it's exhausting.
As for funzies, it's pretty dope. I've cum hands-free a few times from a servitor-chick and it's a very unique experience. I've also found that since discovering tulpas, my sexual fantasies have become a lot more immersive and real-seeming.
>>3192056
>how long did it take you guys?
Y'see, the problem with this is twofold: 1) it varies drastically, for different people. Some achieve vocalization after a few hours of forcing, some spend months on doing so. It's generally accepted (correct me if I'm wrong) that if you spend more than a few months trying to achieve vocalization, you're doing something wrong.
2) What exactly do you mean by tulpa? Faintest inkling of a presence? Head pressures? Vocalization? Full on imposed, capable of body-swapping, fully fleshed-out tulpa with falcon doors? Because that, too, varies.
Overall, the consensus on time is fuggehdaboutit. Stuff will happen if you keep forcing.
What is your tulpa's name?
>>3192744
Blanca. It's russian; seemed to fit her snowy form.
>>3192744
Galko, since it's the character she's based off of.
Once she can talk I'll ask if she wants to change it.

There are too many fucking guides, which ones suck the least?
>>3193022
read a bunch, the ones with the highest veiw counts for starters.
>>3193022
I have no opinion on anything past FAQ/Irish, and they're both outdated and full of inaccuracies. You shouldn't be following any exactly anyway. I'd advise using what's on the wiki though.
Nice dubs.

In Japanese her name is a play on words for the term Gyaru, which is basically a fashionista and she is one of them.

Well, I still didn't commit suicide just to be able to spend time with her. I guess it counts as help.
Give me factual proof this works and I will try it. No, that doesn't mean pulling some random site out of the ass end of google.
>>3193392
No factual proof of subjective internal mental experiences exist friend.

>>3193392
it doesn't work, you believe it works and it does. there are no involuntary hallucinations, just really intense moments of daydreaming you habitually slip into and later believe were "tulpamancing". you basically convince yourself you're crazy in the same way a tranny convinces themselves they can feel their "phantom vagina" by trying to be more aware of the tissue between their legs or the same way a furry faggot tries to imagine the feel of their spirit tail until the spot where they think it would grow out of feels slightly numb.
Tulpafags are a variant on hypocondriacs
>fake mental disorders

>>3193575

I was just scrolling by in search of furry porn and decided to shitpost
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZbEIxhiJRM
Anyone else use videos like this to help active force?
>>3193392
There is no concrete proof we can offer you, but think about this:
There are literally billions of people believing in spiritual entities that as far as I'm concerned are only imaginary.
Many of these people are generally reasonable, so you would expect that they are getting some sort of feedback from the imagined entities.
What we do is that we accept our companions as imagined and focus on getting responses.
It's secular religion in a sense.
>>3193926
Not to mention, would people really keep this up for several years, with hundred of hours of reading material all for some joke/prank?
It's not like anyone is making any money directly or indirectly.
>>3193392
Your unwarranted self-importance syndrome can be a proof that you are autistic enough to actually make a functional tulpa. You can try.
>>3193390
Same boat over here. I couldn't pull the trigger with her watching.
>>3192744
Chryssie.
>>3195396
Couldn't as in a hypothetical scenario or couldn't as in something that actually happened in the past?
I'm new to this whole tulpa deal, but I think I've been passively creating one in my head since I was a kid. I talked to my self in my head a ton when I was younger, almost like puppeting. Doing so always gave me a dull pressure in my brain after a while. I never thought twice about it until I read up on tulpas. I decided to try forcing and asking questions like a yes or no, and to my surprise it seemed to answer me. I've been lurking in this thread for a while now, and I've really been weighing the option of maturing it or not. The friendship it bring sounds great, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to pick up a responsibility like this. Any advice?
>>3193392
how about you try it yourself and see if it works first? the worst thing that could happen would be you losing an hour a day thinking about what could be the best friend or love you've ever had, and looks like someone you would want to live with forever. this experience, for me, is psychologically healthy and keeps me happy as well. of course, I wouldn't even think about continuing if I didn't get actual answers first.
try it for a month, and if you can't even get emotional responses, then you should stop.
>>3195556
if you're not ready, then you're not ready. its a responsibility to keep it in check and a responsibility to have it developed. and first, ask yourself if you really want this, along with reading the FAQ on leddit, because its something you might want to consider before delving deeper.
>>3193699
in essence, it still is a "believe it works, and it does" thing. because thats literally what you're doing. people just dont understand the concept of that being an actual function of their mind. no one here studies psychology or neuroscience. they don't understand how the mind works or perceives things, and in what order. that's why doubt still exists, and that's why doubt will always exist in tulpamancy.
So, tulpas are basically pretending to be schizo?
>>3192744
Turing.
>>3193022
use methos. there's lots of guides because each go into specific parts of the process.
>>3196071
that's one way to put it. its pretending until your brain accepts it and processes information until it seems real. what I just said is disgustingly simplistic because 'seeming real' takes a lot of effort to go through.
the guys here don't like comparing this to schizophrenia because they're entirely different.
one is a mental disorder, and the other is a practice.
Y'all niggers need therapy.
But, even if you truly perceive something, don't you still understand it's all in your head?
I mean, people talk about these things like they actually exist, which, they don't, because that's impossible.
>>3195536
It's happened. I'd get my .357 out or would get a bottle of pills or something and I'd be close to doing it but then she'd start crying and shit. I just couldn't do it.
>>3196326
You seem confused as to what we think tulpas are. I'd recommend reading the FAQ in the OP.
Is it normal to have an absurdly difficult time visualizing early on?
>>3197484
yes.
Like all things, practice makes perfect
>>3197484
I was like this. Dont let it discourage you.
I can't think of anything to do with my developing tulpa and since it comes down to wandering aimlessly I'm extra vulnerable to intrusive thoughts.
>>3197484
you can do narration first, if you'd like. it was easier for me. just use a simple form that could change later on.
>>3196326
but they do in fact, "exist". you're misunderstanding what a tulpa is. its not a ghost or friend that just appears out of nowhere. its a practice.
>>3197614
just try talking about a specific subject. take a walk while talking to it. show what you know. it doesn't matter what.

I've heard my tulpa speak twice, once was two words and once was a full sentence.
But I heard these both while I was forcing right before going to bed, could that have something to do with it?
>>3198971
The first time I heard mine was after I was up for 60 hours.

I feel like my narrating and forcing becomes awful when I'm tired, it really limits the time I can play with my tulpa cause I'm tired all the time.
