I didn't get the impression Lapis hated homeworld. There was surprise at how far technology had advanced and fear that all this new stuff she didn't understand was about to be used against Steven, but the only hate we saw was directed at Jasper who treated her like shit.
Upcoming episodes could prove me wrong but for now I think this would be her dream option. Back with her diamond, far away from earth and the CGs, and Steven safely on the winning side.

Really the persecution from mods kinda made people in /sug/ go militant, the hatred of the show from others in /co/ and people screaming about the tumblr boogeyman didn't help.
