It's probably because you have to watch what you say around people who are providing what's essentially free content.
For example: If you scare them off, they're gone, and they're left with a bad taste in their mouth in doing art for what you scared them away from. You want your fetish, but you don't want to look like a sperg about it, but you still want your fetish. So you have to be 'subtle', and have to ease it in a way that makes the artist think that they, themselves, came up with the idea of drawing it, rather than that it was a coordinated effort to make something big, a la, forced memes that people quickly jump on because it looks like it came up overnight, but, if paid enough attention, you could easily trace it to being slowly posted more and more over a long period of time.
