There's a South Korean baseball team called the Lotte Giants, who also use the same seagull mascot characters as the Chiba Lotte Marines. No coincidence that Lotte owns both teams, so it seems pretty reasonable. Not to mention that the seagull is the official bird of Busan.

Found new Fighters personal memos on the team's official shop. Includes new Polly art as well.
Even though I've been waiting endlessly for them to draw new art of Polly, I'm concerned as to when Brisky would get new art. Considering the fact that Polly and Frep are much newer mascots with completely different art styles; and that BB's was drawn and constantly used before the aforementioned mascots ever existed, they should at least consider giving him a bit more variety for once.
Speaking of which, I always wondered who was the one that drew the art for Polly and Frep though...it almost reminds me of the cartoony animal style used for the Lagunasia amusement park characters.

I haven't really seen much Polly hate. She's actually pretty well-liked. She's even the /npb/ representative on /trash/'s 4cc team.
And the only times I've ever personally said anything bad about Polly is in comparison to Bell, but that's just standard waifu wars. It doesn't mean that I think Polly's bad, just that I recognize that she isn't as good as Bell.
