;-; this doesn't belong in the trash
Also, Elh is best girl.
>>2292731
I know, I posted it on here mainly because it would give more leeway on what could be posted. It doesn't necessarily have to be lewd, despite the OP pic. It would probably be moved anyway if I posted it on /v/.
>Elh is best girl
This is true.
>>2292739
> would be moved anyway
I beg to differ. A few months back we had a thread that lasted for 29 hours. Considering you started this thread as late as you did, I wouldn't be surprised if it gained enough momentum to last when everyone wakes up.
There's hope (maybe?) because it is CC2's 20th Anniversary this year.

Ah.
Honestly, I don't really go on /v/ at all so I wouldn't have known.

>>2302091
Yeah, it's nice to see them having some successes, I guess? I do hope they get a chance to go back to LTB. I know next to nothing about the company, but I assume they genuinely enjoy building games in that world, given how they keep revisiting it despite the games being very modest successes.

Good news folks. Apparently, CC2 is going to be promoting Solatorobo and Tail Concerto at Kemoket next month so we may have sequel news and or doujins on the way.

I own a bunch of artbooks and doujins made by the group who made the games, they're art is really lovely.
>>2335560
Neat.
I really wish someone would scan those. It's sad that pretty much all the side material is Japanese only.
I don't know what this is but i like it.
>>2339872
It's a game by Cyberconnect2 (The .hack and Ninja Storm guys) that is a spiritual sequel to their first game Tail Concerto. Gameplay wise it's not really a masterpiece, but the story is surprisingly good (though takes a bit to pick up), the characters are likeable and the world is surprisingly in-depth. I personally recommend it if you don't mind button mashing. It's a pretty rewarding experience.
Little Tail Bronx is the name of the series it's part of which comprises Solatorobo, Tail Concerto and a safety mascot named Mamoru-kun. For the most part they involve cute kemos, floating islands, and robots.

Love Nobuteru Yuki's art contribootions to the series. I wonder if CC2's gonna pull a Konami with one of their fanbooks and commission other professional veteran artists to do some pieces that could fit with the other arts, After all, I would love to see renditions of the series done by either Yasuhiko or even Shinkawa.

I felt bad, but not as much as you guys (nothing wrong with you two though).
Honestly i think that their change/realization was a bit too sudden, they could have dropped a few hints that the two had some good in them before the final fight against the duo.
Of course it has been a while since i finished the game, so i might not remember as much as i think.
>>2326927
winter coat vs. summer coat?
>>2473813
I guess so. Well that and a joke about the game's upgrade system (you fit blocks on a grid to raise stats, white means mobility/movement speed and blue means defense).
Would you ever commission art? If so, what would it be of?
Adults Elh and Chocolat. >>2480331
>>2480402
That's not actually not a bad idea, do you have an artist you'd go for?
>>2480614
Hum, not exactly... I guess Sindoll would do it since he already drew (a long time ago) an adult Elh. But I guess you're aiming for western artists ? I don't know them very well, maybe someone who have a "japanese-inspired style" to fit the game's characters like devo87 or sssonic2
>>2480672
Can't say I approve of those artists... Sindoll's linework would be the better of that bunch.
Were you aiming for a busty rendition to appeal to your fetish or were you looking for a proper interpretation of how they'd look as adults?
>>2480816
Well I prefer busty girls of course, and apparently it's canon for them to have big breasts when they grow up (see the previous message), so I can consider myself lucky.
But in the end it would be up to your decision I guess, as well as the artist.
>>2292725
Sequel would be nice, but I would settle for a remake with proper resolution for the modern DS. The scaling looks like ass on my 3DS XL.
>>2480816
Or strypes mayve ? Like I said, I know kemono artists very well but I'm not well versed in western-furry, I can recognize the styles here and there, but I don't have one that I found really above the others.
>>2481030
I don't know that artist got a link to their work? I'm one of those kemono-inspired western furry artists, but I'm not a fan of doing commissions any more.
>>2480935
Well there's nothing wrong with them being busty, but I find that reference pretty disproportionate and it seems more like a result of their style than a measured rendition. I'd probably tone it down just a bit...
>>2481499
Ok, that's fine with me.
>>2489982
I know how to distinguish sketches from a final product, I lurked long enough on /ic/ for that. And for sketches, they're good. I'm not really a drawfag, but I know 1 or 2 things, so I'm not saying it's good like someone say it's good because he can't draw for shit.
Does anyone have reference for what Felineko feet looks like? I'm not entirely sure what Elh's boots are wrapping around underneath.

I prefer the paws.
>>2490144
You should go for the digitigrade. I think they're like that in the original artworks by Nobutery Yuki, just look at Elh's boots. They're too small for being plantigrade.
Caninus on the other hand are clearly plantigrade (or a mix of the two, I dunno)
It's the game that definitely brought me into furry/kemono, at the time I only wanted to pirate a game on my R4 to spend the time in summer vacation when I would be bored.
>mfw It was one of the best gaming experiences in my life
>I became a huge fan of the game at the time
>I actually bought it, despite having finished it on my linker.
Also I wasn't aware of the "waifu phenomenom" at the time, but I was worried my obsession with Elh will distract me from real girls... now 5 years later I couldn't care less, I'd take an imaginary Elh over a 3dpd anytime.

>Thanks.Hopefully one of these days ypu could scan one of them, assumimg you still own them. I'd love to see that stuff more clearly (and hope for translations of like backstory and Red Data Children stuff. They've been out for years and they don't even have RAWs.)
I do still own everything and still try and keep up with most of the stuff coming out (Assuming and crossing my fingers that Alice Books is going to carry those plastic mini standees from Kemoket, speaking of). I wouldn't be able to get rid of this stuff now, anyway, since pretty much everything but the Fanbook Collection is out of print and I'd have a hell of a time getting it again.
But yeah, it sucks. The fanbase is just too small, I'd imagine none of us who own this stuff know Japanese and for me it's an on-again-off-again hobby trying to learn it, and I doubt most of the stuff will ever get translated. There's an absurd amount of pages in the artbooks and fanbooks that are just straight-up text. The artbooks all have about 50 pages each of lore stuff, and the fanbooks have about 10-15 pages each dedicated to side stories. It's ridiculous the amount of work something like that would take, nevermind scanning all of it.
Also fuck I did not mean to upload that high of a resolution of the Elh drawing whoops
>>2686632
It's not as small as I thought to be honest. Enough to be on /v/ and have threads go over the bump limit.
Was absolutely shocked when I saw it on /v/. My first solatorobo thread. In later threads I posted hi-res screencaps of the game and uploaded the PST.
One of the first images I posted still gets posted occasionally. Got it from another site.
By the way, anyone have both OPs in HD?
>>2689232
>One of the first images I posted still gets posted occasionally. Got it from another site.
That's my image too, lol, on a forum I used to more or less manage. Naturally, me and like two other guys on the forum were the only ones who really gave a shit about the game. That's pretty much precisely the image I had in mind when I said "Over 4 years old". It was never meant to really escape that forum, but oh well, it's still kind of funny even without context.
I even still have all the failed shots before I just gave up and compiled two together. So fucked thinking it was that long ago. I took these pictures when I had my own apartment. So cramped my computer was in my kitchen. I miss that place.
>>2689713
How much did the LTB archives cost?
I wish they had digital versions. Can't feel safe keeping anything physical.
>>2690175
Back in 2012? A lot. They retailed for about $50 USD and after special shipping service fees which was necessary back then since these weren't on Amazon.co.jp or Alice Books, I spent $130 on just the first volume alone. Once they started putting them on Amazon, you could get them shipped internationally for about $25-30, so you wouldn't have spent more than $80 on each book
However, the books are unfortunately now out of print, and I think for good. They seemed to get short bursts of lower priced $40 re-releases earlier this year but I think that was it. Volume 1 now only has second-hand copies going for well over $100 on eBay and even more on Amazon; Volume 2 is just straight up not available from anybody period; Volume 3 is only pretty much available in its special edition package that came with the complete 2-disc soundtrack, intro storyboard book, 4koma booklet, a pin, and a manga of that Astro Boy parody whose name always escapes me. But anyway, it's on CC2's Amazon store, among other things.
http://www.amazon.co.jp/株式会社サイバーコネクトツー/e/B00IUISLO6/
Volume 3's special edition goes for about $90 on Amazon JP, probably $120 after shipping. Considering that was its initial retail price, not a bad deal at all nowadays, all things considered. You can also still get the Tail Concerto art book on Alice Books for about $40 before shipping, too. I have a bad feeling once it's sold out there it'll be the last you'll see of it, like the others.
http://alice-books.com/item/show/1969-24
And yeah, same here about wanting a digital version of them. They've done Kindle releases of all their Kemono Magazines, I've always wondered why they never did it for the Solatorobo stuff. I'd pay for it. I've already given them god knows how much money anyway.
>>2690715
Guess I'll never get it then. I can't into nip anyway.
Do you have the PST by any chance? Maybe the TC PST as well?
>>2694096
Yeah, I have a 320kbps rip of the PST that I tagged in English using the game's sound test translation and I just realized I'm an idiot and when I ripped the Tail Concerto soundtrack last year I ripped it in M4A 320kbps variable bit rate and not MP3 320kbps constant bit rate like I usually do. Oh well, I'll have to fix that when I get home from work. And finally try and tag TC's OST in English.
Anyway, here's Solatorobo
https://mega.nz/#!4lUBzLaQ!FTh-0_cKRNVE31w0XW_qx-nutRIyTYpmNtCGVg5mZDI
And for the time being, my old Tail Concerto rip that I'll probably replace tonight or tomorrow

>>2695562
Have you ever uploaded a JP tagged rip? I downloaded a version that has JP tags, but it had issues with crackles, basically not a good rip.
Same issues for the TC PST rip I have. It's mp3 though so it's either not yours or re-encoded (even worse)
I kinda want a raw/lossless rip for archival, along with scans. I guess I can do that when I have the PSTs. Or if the fanbase grows somehow.

I've never uploaded a JP tagged rip for Solatorobo, but the one I just linked was based off of a Japanese rip (I left this in the ID3 comment section - Rip by 園城寺怜@astost). Basically what happened was once the set got released, someone from Japan had ripped it pretty much immediately before it even shipped overseas, and since it was 320kbps cbr, that's the one I've always used. I don't even think I've ripped the CDs since I got them since 320kbps is good enough for me. My computer or my drive or some external force fucks up EAC every time I try to rip a CD to FLAC in it. I could do a fresh rip of Solatorobo if you want, and try FLAC for both Solatorobo and TC, but I'll tell you if it's the Perfect Sound Track, it's very likely the same rip that's been up since 2012.
I could be mistaken, but I don't recall hearing any crackling issues with that Solatorobo rip. I've listened to it quite a lot and I've usually got a good ear for noticing issues like that. Tail Concerto less so since I listen to that soundtrack a lot less frequently, but same thing, I don't recall hearing any issues.

Welp, me again. EAC seems to be acting nice tonight. More often than not it just locks up when trying to rip the first track but so far so good on the FLAC rip.

Same. I always liked the small tight-knit but still anonymous community the 4chan Solatorobo fanbase is. Pretty much the English fanbase as a whole if I had to guess.
Well, here's Solatorobo's PST in FLAC form.

That took a lot longer than it should have.
Good night.

And as soon as I'm about to go to sleep I realize I made a typo in the fucking tags. Disc 1, track 33 should be "Eat or Be Eaten" not fucking "Ear"
God dammit, I'll fix it tomorrow.
