Why ban them? This board is a containment board for Furries and HG, a NSFW branch of MLP, and a place to move "off-topic" threads instead of deleting them.

bans aren't worth much anymore though are they, just about anyone can evade without much trouble.
every time I've seen them try to do something about the furs or avatars on /b/ it turned into a war of attrition with mods camping the threads and the anons resetting their routers or getting a new proxy every few seconds and showing up again. mods always just gave up in the end

Impossible with the tech used to make regular glasses, but it's theoretically possible. (I work as a lab tech making glasses.)
The glasses-in-an-hour stores can make circular lenses with any given prescription fairly easily, then cut those lenses down to fit the frame. Making two different prescriptions a precise distance apart on a single piece of plastic is a vastly more difficult undertaking.
There are digital lenses made with something like very precise 3D printing tech, which I think could do it. It would be far more expensive than regular glasses. It would be difficult to even design.

What if the lenses were two seperate pieces of plastic? They could be affixed using resin, but the whole thing would need to be replaced if one part got damaged unless the bridge was joined together using a screw in an interlocking design.
