Who's ready for the episode where Connie's parents are trying a trial separation because of the stress in their marriage, and Connie being in denial tells Steven that her mom explained to her that in some relationships both people need some time apart or else they'll be doomed to break up, so Steven gets worried about Garnet. Garnet objects at first, but seeing how upset Steven has gotten about his family breaking apart, Sapphire convinces Ruby to have some time apart. Hilarity ensues when they try to do stuff without each other, ultimately causing more stress to each other and the other Gems. Eventually they have enough, and Garnet fuses. Steven is still worried, and Connie still being weird is making them anxious, so Garnet sits them down and explains what is going on. Connie ends up crying into Garnet's shoulder, and asks Garnet to use future vision to tell her what happens, and not wanting to give an answer, tells her people and love are complicated and how she can't even always figure that out.

There's a mod that puts in charisma checks (like in F:NV, need a special level in Charisma to pass it) instead of the percentage chance, can't remember it's name but it should be under Game play effects on the nexus.
But it's really 50/50 for me on the skills, I don't like the level locks that the skills have (like lockpicking and hacking, now instead of a number milestone it's a skill that you put a point in) but I do like it on some ways, and understand it's implementation.

And to me, his backstory is pretty sad. He's always afraid that he's gonna loose his powers, that he won't have all of the powers Rose had, that he won't be considered a Crystal Gem, and that the Gems only care for his Rose Quartz Gemstone.
