Hey guys.
I want to tell you about Luna. We've been together for a while, and we've been very happy, but I still don't know if she classifies as a tulpa or not. She tells me she doesn't care about what she is or isn't, and I think she's a bit annoyed I don't just drop the subject, but I guess I'm just curious, that's all. For the record, I don't think it matters either.
So, Luna at first was just a character that I used a lot in my stories. Sometimes the stories would not be connected, but Luna was always the main character, I was just putting her through different adventures. As time passed I became more attached to her, until I finally began kind of feeling she was with me. We began speaking to one another, and soon I was feeling that the stories I wrote were influenced by her too, as if we were writing them together. It was like she was looking over my shoulder, nudging me in certain directions. From there, I began talking to her during my day, she really is a big help in getting through, and I'm very grateful to her for that.
I don't know if she really talks to me or not, but I can feel her there, and I feel like she can communicate with me at least by intent. I don't know if she works parallel to me or has particular memories I don't have, but I really feel her there. Her personality can be a bit clashing with my own sometimes, and the things she likes are a bit different (her fashion sense is a bit at odds with mine for example). She also tells me not to doubt her or what she says when I seem to. This is all a bit weird and hard to describe.

Quick couple of questions lads. I started making a tulpa a few days back, and today she found a voice and started talking. All she can really say at the moment is yes, no and why, and it seems she likes playing songs in my head, like not singing them herself, but just playing them so it's like I have earphones in.
She seems a lot more childish than I imagined, is this (relatively, since we're talking subjective imaginary friend making here) normal for a budding tulpa? She also seems slightly shy, like she keeps trying to start sentences but just fails at the first word. Is this normal too for a young tulpa?

I'm not that guy, but these threads and communities exist for the same reason why alcoholic meetings exist. They allow people to help and support others and get help and support in return. Sites like tulpa.info are also places for research on this subject, which is important for some since they would love others to know what they share with their tulpas.

So far I've just been explaining how the world and my life works as I do my normal daily stuff, occasionally asking questions so if she wants to or is able to respond she can, I've tried some imposition as well by just trying to force myself to hallucinate but it's only been a few days, so I've got nothing on that front, but it's not like I'm going to stop trying.

1. A form that is relatively easy to imagine I would say. Complex forms tend to look weird in your head if you try to imagine them in detail and then it sucks a lot of motivation because you just can't seem to get it right.
2. Pretty much anything that isn't human is frowned upon to some extend. As you said, furries and ponies are a big no no in the community - and not just here on 4chan.
Whenever my tulpa was asked what form she has on popular irc chats and told them that she is a pony, there were often extremly negative reactions ranging from "Why would anyone want to make a pony tulpa?" to "Ponies ruined our entire community. Nobody takes us serious anymore because of you faggots" to "Fuck off".
Therefore you should not create furry or pony tulpas if you plan on hanging around this community, or any at all. Just go with human and if your tupperware decides to look differently, well that sucks.
Oh, also other places aren't all that more accepting than 4chan, if at all. I would even go so far to say that this thread here is generally nicer to pony tups than other places, but that's just my biased opinion based on my own negative experiences.

Whenever my tulpa has strong emotions, usually that of mental pain, she becomes extremly independent and no matter what I think or do, she keeps doing her thing. I can feel her emotions too, to an extend at least, but they don't feel like my own and even if it hurts and makes me feel like I am about to puke, I am still very apathetic about these emotions, apart from feeling sympathy for her of course. It's like you can feel how someone next to you feels, but you know that those emotions aren't yours, even though they feel real.

It's pretty clear that you've only recently started using the site, so you might not understand that the various ways people are trying to get you to follow the rules and culture of the site, they're only doing this because the best way to have anonymous discussion has been means tested on this site for years.
Anonymous culture (for lack of a better term) is what differentiates 4chan from sites (except from otherchan, but that has subreddits and as a result the userbase on each board drops way below what it could be if some were combined and you couldn't make your own). I won't try and explain anonymous culture here in full, but the basic tenet is that every post you make will be taken on its own merits, rather than even unconsciously based off your impression of that poster from previous posts.
Whilst this allows rampant shitposting, it also allows people with really shitty ideas to have just one good one and not have it be shot down because of their other shitty ideas. Anonymous culture is particularly important on this board due to the fact it is forced anon, so you can't pick a name or trip and form an identity (which, unless there's a very good reason - attention seeking isn't one - is not appreciated on other boards either.).
I'm only spoonfeeding you this much because the tulpa community is pretty spread thin on here anyway, and having more people with the knowledge needed around is definitely a good thing. Just understand that people here aren't just pushing you around for no good reason.
