The X files figure series has a pretty good alien figure.
Although it is fairly old. I think articulation is limited, maybe just the shoulders and head.
Could make for a decent custom, if someone wanted to go for the OP style.

If I remember right, it had ball hinged shoulders, that were limited by the rubber cowl that made up the neck. I think wrist, and thigh swivel joins too.

Arachnids actually, three pinktoe tarantulas and one yellow scorpion, they do decompose after some time, that's not colored water though, that's alcohol, it stops the decomposition process, the color of the liquid changes after some time in contact with them, not really sure why.
