Apparently, the contest is aimed at boards with very little to no activity (see, /po/ or /i/), and we're just on the middle, so nope, no banner contest for us.

Absolutely NOTHING in the case of the pictures posted in this thread.
With the exception of >>5766822 (and maybe OP's pic, but that would require adding to the background) there is not a single example of a picture than can be cropped and scaled in such a way to be even remotely useable as a banner, and still look decent.
Either the majority of the image will be lost, the details would be too small, or you'd have to distort the image in such a way it would look like shit. You have no clue when it comes to graphic design, and you don't know what he fuck you're talking about. If you did, you'd take >>5766311, use it as a template, and prove me wrong. But you know you cant.
