Those statues weren't toys. They were literally fiberglass sculptures with non-functional joints carved in to make them look like toys, as a gimmick to promote the game. Not him, but I have my reasons for disliking NECA. I will never hate on their sculpts, but I keep running into QC issues that makes me not trust them. Their articulation seemingly peaked with Player select Ryu Hayabusa, not sure why they never followed that line of articulation since it was near perfect for the price point.
I'd pay $30-40 for NECA figures with better articulation and QC, maybe at the cost of size, too. But as is, I'm not taking many more risks with them.
