I was hoping like hell we'd have gotten the Bogo and Flash wave of figures by now.

Well I finally managed to get an entire Mystery Minis collection for Zootopia. Got Nick and Judy at a Gamestop that AMAZINGLY had an untouched case still. Which mean I could reach right to the bottom and grab them with certainty.

Debatable. Overall the box office earnings in japan are no where as big as Frozen, it was still the third best opening weekend for a disney film in japan (big hero six topped Frozen in japan for opening)
Some beleive that an earthquake may have factored into it, which is definitely possible considering it was no.2 in japanese box office for the first two weekends. Then suddenly it saw a rise in ticket sales landing it in no1 for the next 4 weeks, which is definitely outside the number for box office behaviors. So it definitely did show some success over in japan, but if you go strictly by overall earnings, no where close to frozen.

I really wanted to get Judy, but the hard line they did around her muzzle looks really bad and bizarre to me. I don't understand why they couldn't have done a soft white to grey fade, it's not like they've never done gradient paint apps before.

I'm nowhere near knowledgeable on the subject, but the concept of purchasing a butchered game that you need to invest $100+ in merch to get the full experience already seems like it'd be hard to make profit, and with the competition of Dimensions, Amiibo, and Skylanders, I doubt they stood a chance. They probably just weren't making the money they were hoping to.

I'm in the same boat as you, anon.
I to have never played the game, but have always admired their unique sculpts. Their $14 plus price point has always kept me away form buying most of them but I was able to get two that I've been eyeing for years for $6.99 last week at Walmart. That seems to be the cheapest they sell for in stores even on clearance.
