You can buy recasts of at least the TTGL ones, like I mentioned. They are resin kits and require some work and paint, and I don't remember whether or not the recasts come with the joints they need right off the bat either.

I own both Gutto Sonico and Nyx - Nyx is trash. I own a number of different basic female figures, lewd included. Sonico is a LOT tighter, she doesnt move as easily as say a figma - but she doesnt fall apart like Nyx. I own both Nyx pieces - the blue and red - both have problems with pieces falling off or her flopping around. Nyx was such a disappointment, the stand is the only thing keeping her up and looking decent. She isnt broken, she just doesnt stand and her pieces arent fun to work with. I own two Sonico Gutto figures - one naked and one still in her uniform - and with the uniform on she cant do much other then stand.

I prefer figures unless there's a scale of the same character with a really nice dynamic pose. I like taking photos and the process of figuring out how to make it look best. I also like to appreciate the engineering that goes into a figure.
I feel that poseability detracts slightly from the look of each item, but adds significantly to the look of my whole display. Articulated stands also make it possible to get angles you wouldn't otherwise.
I don't mind joints because they usually don't interfere with "understanding what the figure represents", if that makes sense. When you look at a well-designed, well-posed and photographed figure, you don't see the joints.
That said, I buy both.

imho one of the coolest things is when toy companies manage to make the articulations work with the sculpt, must be a pain in the ass to do so, a Neca predator figure with the net sculpted and painted in the articulation, any company that puts double-jointed knees hidden under knee/shin armor, a ML spider-man in which the web is painted all the way under the ab-crunch. Figs are Original Effect MoMos, the particular MoMo you're referring to is Ingenue(?) Head. She was one of the first two MoMos to be released, most people don't have problems with Ingenue Head or her release counterpart Cyuchergoh.
Original Effect's MoMos are generally okay. They're unique, flexible, and have nice character, however after the first few releases QC became spotty. Hi-Riridine, the gray MoMo maid I was posting, and her counterpart Chocolatte, for example, had flatter paintjobs and lacked detailing in comparison to initial promo images, and the whole line has also suffered from joints that are either loose or stiff in excess. Original Effect and the designer Optune are apparently working at rectifying these issues for the next release, however.
If you buy them you'd best know what you're getting into. There's also an Original Effect thread, go check it out if you'd like.
