SUGGEST JUNE BUILDING CHALLENGES
Link to this post if you want your challenge suggestion counted.
>>5696153
Challenge - Build a minifigure of a Star Wars character that doesn't already have one.
>>5696153
Build a robot command centre. You figure out what it's supposed to be a robot or command them!
>>5696176
*you figure out it it's supposed to be a robot, or if it just commands them!
>>5696153
Build something that's mostly Lego but uses some third party/off brand pieces.
> just bought an old Tyco set on ebay
> kill me
>>5696153
Build a brick-built wheelchair that looks better than the one in 60134.
Is ghostbusters anon from last thread still here I would love to see more shots of his firehouse interior
Are there any reasonably priced sets that include more than one female fleshie head?
I've been looking at the BvS Batwing and the Civil War Airport battle, but both are pretty expensive. Star Wars, maybe?
>>5696239
I don't think there are any. Bricklink?
or you might find the Big Bang Theory set on sale somewhere, seven annoying bitches.
>>5696184
Built one that i think looks ok, but it doesn't actually attach to the minifigures butt and the front wheels don't spin.
>>5696267
background punk girl is waifu material
On bricklink, how do I add an XML parts list to a SPECIFIC wanted list? Just tried to add a list of parts and now they are all scattered throughout my main wanted list, this is a fucking nightmare.
>>5695346
>Classic spacesuits,
My favorite fucking thing is these guys, because I never had any of the original space sets.
I should do something with the third torso. Make a legit classic space guy.
>>5696153
build something based off of another anon's moc
>>5696283
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=207
Each item needs a <WANTLIST> node with the numerical ID of the list you want to fill.
>>5696258
You mean seven female heads? How expensive are we talking?
>>5696320
Fucking shit, why does this all have to be so fucking complicated. Finally found a nice set of vans that are minifig scale, got an lxf file. Try converting it to XML using brickulus, bunch of parts are errored out, so I cut those out of the list by hand, then what does work gets thrown all over my whole wanted list. I just got them all into their OWN list by hand, one at a time, and it doesnt even look like the right amount of fucking parts.
SHIT.
>>5696332
post the vans
>>5696338
http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/380663
Sure, they are simple, but one of the larger one in black, with some mods, is exactly what I want for my punisher van.
>>5696342
And yeah, try running it through brickulus, there was three sets of parts that were either unknown or errored out, just found one of them, the wheels, which were marked as part number 6014 in LDD, but are actually marked as 6014b which is why they errored I think.
>>5696330
He's joking, it has 3 female heads.
>>5696347
Alright, that doesn't sound too terrible, but it's probably hard to get now.
Do the heads have waifig potential?
>>5696356
It's easy to get actually and on sale in a lot of places due to lack of interest. Interesting parts, but boring set overall. Not many fans of the show care about lego either it seems.
>>5696356
Change the hair piece and their golden
>>5696365
>their
>>5696362
Because fans of the show are not actually hardcore """""nerds"""""
>>5696356
It's silly to buy whole sets just for minifig heads when you can buy them individually on Bricklink.
>>5696371
>third row, sixth from left
She's a big girl.
>>5696371
I don't trust Bricklink. I plan to get a few of the Superheroes sets anyway, so maybe the problem will solve itself.
>>5696380
>I don't trust Bricklink
>>5696380
How in the fuck do you not trust bricklink? Is this bizarro /lg/?
>>5696386
Isn't that picture more "I like what I'm reading"?
This one fits better, I think.
>>5696388
Its her peoples eyebrow that does it for me. Yours is good too, though, as ive said before.
>>5696388
We posting these?
>>5696393
>>5696393
I would make one with Frodo from the LOTR sets, but my camera is beyond awful.
>>5696433
If you took that, I believe in you anon!
>>5696437
That's not my picture, it's one I found on the Internet.
>>5696380
>I don't trust Bricklink
>>5696380
Why don't (you) trust them?
It is done.
>>5696153
Fenimiminismninimism- Give your female figs something BADASS to ride around in! Bonus points for minidolls.
>>5696153
Make a Fighting arena for your two most badass minifigs!
>>5696500
It is not, it's quite clearly still in the box, right there on your bed.
>>5696153
Home Sweet Home - In honor of Captain Rex's AT-TE, rebuild a vehicle into a mobile home for your favorite figs.
>>5696500
Damn, I really want that A-Wing but can't justify spending $90 or whatever Lego wants for the set.
>>5696517
I'm almost inclined to say that it's worth it to get the A-Wing AND the TIE Advanced AND the first new Tarkin fig since 2006. But the choice is up to you.
>>5696500
Ayy I bought that yesterday!
>>5696516
just want to say that lego stole my idea. I invented the mobile base at-te when I was 12.
Hey, have you guys ever seen these pieces before?
I was building the A-Wing/TIE Advanced and I just found them. Are they brand new?
>>5696239
I would suggest the upcoming Ghostbusters car, but rumors has it to 60$, and that's not a reasonable price at all.
>>5696528
Brand new, introduced in the ghostbusters car
>>5696528
yup
>$60
man.....
>>5696591
Where is there 500 pieces in that set?
I don't believe it.
>>5696611
Lots and lots of 1x1 round plates.
>>5696591
I just bought the Luggabeast and Teedo on eBay for $30 instead. This is a really shitty playset.
hey guys let me tell you about this overlooked old set
Actually it's the last time I'll be posting it.
removed missile launcher
V12 engine upgrade
cabin now has minibar and space for pilot, Brick Daddy and 1-2 space hos
bigger trunk
And I'm done messing with it.
#squad
>>5696666
Would you mind taking a pic of the back of the new one? I want to try building something similar.
>>5696663
How do you run a V12 engine in space?
Sheer pimpery?
>>5696678
No prob Bob
I also took the liberty of comparing the new Sabine figure to the old one.
The new one doesn't include the helmet.
>>5696682
Perfect, thanks.
>>5696685
i want to be the meat in that sandwich
>>5696687
We all do, pal.
>>5696679
It's actually a big row of fancy verniers. When you start the vehicle, not only do they huff exhaust, but they wiggle around, and will angle themselves during maneuvers to help you place yourself just right so you can roll down your space limo window and pimp slap or catcall the space hoes who congregate on skeevy-looking asteroids.
>>5696500
Where you at? We ordered the dengar set today from TRU because their site claimed my local store didnt have any in stock, and were wondering if it will ship right away or if itll ship june 1st.
>>5696823
I'm in Chicago, you shoulda just made the trip over to TRU to see if they had any on the shelves. That's what I did.
>>5696153
Challenge: June Bride. Set up an impromptu wedding between your sig fig and another fig, or your waifig/husbafig and another. Bonus points for celebrity guests, full musical acts and ultimate points for treating her/him like a princess/prince with a "fairytale wedding" (fancier the better).
>>5696224
Yeah I am here and sure I can do that but I am currently trying to turn it into a modular. I love the dollhouse effect but I think the rooms could work better as floors that can separate like in the more recent modular kits.
>>5696825
Didnt have thew time for a full trip. Hopefully the set will come fairly quickly, TRU is usually pretty good with that.
>>5696827
That would be cool can't wait to see
>>5696591
What color are the blue pieces on the beast? Medium azure?
I can get the Spidey Bridge Battle for 99 euros. Want to turn it into a Marvel display but you think its worth it for that price?
>>5696153
Build a shrine or alter.
>>5696908
It could work well as a display piece if you got two and put them together. It could be a avengers bridge battle of sorts.
>>5696911
Worshipping at the alter of freakish Friends animals.
>>5696915
Friends animal sacrifices.
>>5696267
Very nice.
>>5696145
How can I get pic related happening? I can't figure out a method of getting the 4x4 attaching in the centre. SNOT blocks attach it off centre.
>>5696918
Wheres the red tassle on his glaive from?
>>5696968
Get a 1 x 2 snot brick (with studs on only 1 side). Put a 1 x 1 normal brick on one of the two hollow studs. Then put that in the middle of the curvey circle
>>5696980
Holy shit how did you know that would work?!
>>5696983
autism + knowing the measurments of bricks
protip: the thin plate part of a bracket is .5 plate thick
bricks are 2.5 plates wide

Added to a list of things I didn't know
>>5696968
>>5696980

>>5696993
How does it feel knowing that there is a tiny gap at the base of those headlight bricks?
>>5696993
im visibly aroused by this
>>5696995

Is it possible to rebuild this in Boba's colors? Despite being old, I don't think it looks as awful as it could, and the fact that it's small is a huge plus for me. I just prefer Slave I green and red.
>>5696994
pic related is a pretty good representation
>>5696993
>>5696985
>>5696994
Loving this already.
>>5696973
Enlighten blacksmiths
>>5696997
The slave 1 from 2006? was in boba's colors and used similar techniques, so very possible.
>>5696993
You cool with uploading the file to mediafire or something because that is rad and would be great for minifig displays.
This fucking bracket gives the same damn connection.
>>5697005
Use 2 brackets. Way better.
>>5697005
https://www.mediafire.com/?lzql9zf03yhrs9d
Why is the truck in this set so dam cosy and cute
>>5697026
Nigga, thats kawaii as FUCK. MOC or official?
>>5696371
thank you for this
>>5697065
No prob anon, I also had a pantsu sheet that someone else made, but I accidentally deleted it last night.
You can do this yourself too. Just go Bricklink>catalog> parts (pick part type) then search by keyword to filter the results. I just went to minifig heads and searched "female".
>>5696685
So are they are pulling the same shit of last year, and release the helmet in another expensive as fuck set that is most likely going to be non-minifig scaled?
>>5697082
Just do what I did. Get one of the Arealight customs helmets. They look nicer and the colors are closer to her helmet in the show. They are only like $3.
>Eclipse Fighter is 49€ here
Yes I mad. That's almost twice what it is in States.
Also Finfags, check the stores. Capeshit, City, Friends, Elves, SW and Creator has started to pop up.
Holy fuck.
Budozer - 60074 - 39,99$ - Poland: 129,99 Pln
Fun in the park Park: 39,99$ Poland: 159,99 Pln
Holy fuck I hate Lego Polska so much.
>>5697119
Noted. Thanks anon.
>>5697164
Are you getting shafted on the conversion or is it just Lego pricing?
How much is 60132 in Polish gold?
>>5697164
> Budozer - 60074 - 39,99$ - Poland: 129,99 Pln
Allegro: 98,90
>Fun in the park Park: 39,99$ Poland: 159,99 Pln
Dozer is older, about to be retired. 4 PLN for a freedom token seems about fair, though.
>>5697164
>Budozer - 60074 - 29,99€ - Poland: 129,99 Pln
>Fun in the park Park: 39,99€ Poland: 179,99 Pln
>it's LEGO's fault our currency is shit
>>5697247
WTF...
Gas Station: 89,99 Poland 299,99
Fire Boat: 79,99 Poland 299,99
>>5697263
Actualy Poland Lego Pricing is weird because some sets are actualy cheaper. Like the small City sets.
>>5697274
>both are 69,99€
How about you stop being retarded already?
Hey that one anon who wanted to order from Brickwarriors and who I advised to wait for a Memorial Day sale - it's begun. Code is MEMORIAL16 and it gets you 22% off. Ends Monday.
>>5697026
>that octan tank on the trailer
Noice.
>>5697164
40 fucking dollars for Fun in the Pork is an outrage anyway, they know people will buy it just for the cripple cart.
>>5697138
>49€
Jesus. I've heard that Europe gets some markup but that's just ridiculous.
>>5697598
I found US price quite logical - it costs like 14 Cminifigs.
>>5696696
>>5697026
Amazing.
>>5697026
what set?
>>5696856
looks like it
Have we talked about this?
Because I'm suddenly hype as fuck.
>>5697760
After the UCS Hoth set I'm more looking forward to the complaining and butthurt.
Rate my works please.

>>5697760
it's gonna suck hard
On a related note if the LEGO Group is so great why can't I get a half decent one of these forget good or even great I would take a half decent one.
>>5697808
The newest design is half decent. Covers the major details well.
>>5697783
The figure's cute but no my thing
The tripod is holy shit awesome! nice music too.
It might be improved a little by use of mixel joints for the arms and foot connection.
I ordered the King's Mech and a Power Functions light for my train. FedEx passed it off to the USPS which does this bullshit.
They gave my package to some random person near my mailbox, apparently? No one here has it. My mailbox is at a distance from my house where you cannot see the house. It is between a bar, an abandoned gas station, and two trailer parks.
I am 99% sure the postman just gave my package to some random person. He put the rest of the mail in the mailbox, however. What the fuck?
>>5697810
My sides. Seriously tho. They are either way to squat or all wrong in the arms
>>5697822
Venice is kinda weird. I don't doubt that they just handed off your package and called it a day. On the bright side, maybe the guy will realize it wasn't their package and get it back to you.
>>5697808
I think their problem is the scale. Like they can make a big, nice one, or a small just okay one. They always make it black though which is weird. I'm sure a person could make a good one pretty easily though. They have a problem the Droidekas too. Like the first one was great, although a bit big, and they got worse and worse from there on out.
I'm hoping for a Geonosis arena set. Those new feet pieces seem like they'd be good for the Reek.
Time for Bricklink...again
(pls no ban, mods)

5 beasts and the ecto
>>5697890
4 beasts, Thor on casual friday and Gorilla Grodd on his day off you mean!
>>5696576
No it wasn't. It was originally introduced in some of the new Speed Champions sets. On the Corvette Z06 and 2017 Camaro Z28 as splitters, and in the Audi R8 LMS Ultra as the iconic side scoops. The new Ecto-1 isn't even out yet.
>>5697876
wait, are there 5 ghostbusters in the movie?
>>5697873
I live a couple of hours away, but I have been to Venice.
>>5697876
>>5697892
>>5697908
4 and a secretary who wants to be a buster, like the original.
>>5697876
I think I'm the only one happy because the build itself looks good and the figs will probably have new fleshie female faces
>>5697923
also high likelihood of sale prices when it turns out the movie's shit
>>5697928
I personally wont be buying it retail, ill be buying it second hand. Or even better, the chinese version. The less money that IP gets, the better (and besides, if the regular toy sales are anything to go by, they are already hurting).
>>5697876
well, there goes the thread
>>5697922
Pretty sure Janine only donned a pack in the cartoons and comics. Louis was the guy who wanted a chance.
>>5697898

>>5697872
I want to put guns and a flight helmet on it.
Opened a minifig bag series 15 and got Janitor. Was expecting something more out there but this tired old guy is nice as well.
I call him Felipe, and he's been getting hit by wayward 4 square balls for 20 years. He's so tired.
>>5698437
>>5698437
>He's so tired.
I feel sad for this guy.
You should build him an awesome cleaning mech or tank or army of floor mopping robots at his command or something.
> get bricklink order
> stud shooter guns
> didn't order triggers, figured I'd use my spares
> seller tossed them in anyway
> some extra parts too
That was kinda nice. :3
>>5698468
And put him out of a job?
>School kids build janitor a cleaning robot
>He's happy that his job is easier now
>Few weeks go by and no one has seen him
>Kids ask the robot where he is and it just shrugs
>Cut to the former janitor sitting on a bench in the park Keanu style
Tomorrow.
I live by the site of a proposed new Legoland, are adults allowed in there or is it one of those "if you don't have a kid you're a pederast" kind of things?
>>5698526
I myself am a master of the custodial arts
>>5698540
What's a pederast?
>>5698540
Well, If it is a proper Legoland Park, it will be for younger kids, but they don't care if adults go. If it is a Legoland Discovery Center then it is less inviting to adults and you may not be allowed in. Check http://www.legoland.com/ for more info.
>>5697876
The car itself doesn't even look like as good a build. A lot of it is similar, but that front looks horrible. Better to just bricklink that monster.

That said I'm going to be on the verge of killing everyone when the traffic starts, there's literally one major road through town
>>5697876
This makes me angry because it takes away from another set.
>>5698568
The design is more play friendly with space inside to sit more people and opening doors. That's about the end of the good things it has going for it however.
>>5698575
Buy the other set instead of that one then baka
>>5698536

Thanks. I heard Lego's actually planning on Space Police IV, so something like it might happen. No idea when though.

Nah, our main room is a half basement that we have setup as a living room with a ton of mood lighting.
