Blame Tecmo, if Bandai would have the licence's right, there will be a couple of SHFiguarts by now, the same goes with Max Factory or Kaiyodo, they could have released a couple of figures
Seems like Tecmo doesn't have any interest on articulated figures, only statueshit
And honestly speaking, if they made figures of the cast, I'll only be interrested on the girls and maybe Ryu Hayabusa, fuck the rest of the guys

I got the Ayane. IMO great figs if you're into 1/18th or DOA.
Funny that we are getting the Virtua Fighter Figmas though. got that Model 2 emulator and been playing both franchises recently (though mostly rail shooters).

I just don't see the appeal. The DOA character models have gotten more high-poly and shit over the years but they still look so fake and plasticky due to the art style and bizarrely low-detail bodies. Who even gets turned on by this? It's like looking at some particularly good department store mannequins.

Well...that's what I was implying. These aren't fappable. Just like mannequins. To me at least, they're creepy. The DOA character models/art style have always seemed eerily soulless and hollow to me, and this sensation is honestly only getting worse as the graphics improve. Sort of an uncanny valley kinda thing.

he is still NECA's best engineered figure. I was lucky to scoop him up for 9 bucks like 5 years ago at TRU. Need to hit a few of the joints with Pledge at this point though.
Would love a Figuarts still, as NECA doesn't scale with most of my toys.

A lot of people consider this to be their holy grail, but this entire line of Epoch figures had floppy joints that fell apart easily -- I got mine to work by applying copious amounts of Pledge polish -- and Tina still has the ugliest ass in action figure history. Besides, since this is a Dead or Alive 2 toyline, the sculpts are based on Dreamcast-quality graphics.
