It's the exact same molding process as any other toy, you just have to cut the pieces from the sprue and assemble it yourselves. They're not going to pay the factory to make something with a different plastic concoction just for a small assembly class.

Well when the BW toyline was originally being designed, it was planned to be a direct G2 continuation; hence Optimus Primal and Megatron being treated like the G1 versions in the bios, and references to modern-day Earth. we don't know if any other characters beyond those two where meant to be G1/G2 guys, but we can speculate. The lack of paint is killing me. This is actually the first MP I've bought that I've been disappointed in, mostly because of how straight-up cheap it looks. The stickers don't really help the issue. A shade or two darker on the plastic, or a nice coat of paint would look beautiful, but as it is, meh. I might box him back up and sell him at a later date. It's a shame my MP Decepticon collection is doomed to be so tiny.

None of the jets have the figure that Airazor has in the show, so enjoy being wrong.

BTW, go check out the new series if you liked Thunderbirds. Except for a couple dud episodes and a serious disuse of the new TB, it's pretty amazing. It's mix of CGI and physical miniature sets!

Nothing about Shockwave invokes Reflector. And the Legends toy is too small. Reflector wasn't as small as Rumble and Frenzy. Thus, forced.
So I did a few mods to my '07 Barricade today:
>cut out a notch to let his knees fully straighten out
>went fanmode on the shoulders and hips
>took the figure apart and shaved away at his neck panel- now the neck can be fully pulled up and the sides of the car front can be just as collapsed as you would if you didn't pull the neck out (doing so originally meant that the wider panel would limit how much you could collapse the front)
Now to do something about an articulated head and more visible hands. Honestly, he's shaping up to look less like a bayformer and more like a weird cross between an alternator (vehicle part wise) and something outta hftd/2010. Which is good, cuz I'm trying to make some kinda psuedo-hftd Barricade.
