I just got into vollecting, and got a quetion. How hard are some neca figures to get once they stop being sold at official retailers? I want the Hots arthas and illidan, but considering holding off until I get some other figures. I have a deep fear of them being impossible to get once the wave ends.
Pretty easy. As long as you can afford it.
I have yet to find a NECA who is actually unattainable...again, assuming you are willing to pay. And if the character is popular and they still have the license, they may even do an Ultimate/new release. Jungle Hunter Predator is like $80 now but they're releasing a new one in the fall at $25.
Most NECA stuff seems like it hovers around $35 shipped after it stops shipping to stores

I got the Arthas and Illidan NECA, they're pretty cool but the sculpt on Arthas makes posing him a little difficult. I'm so pissed they fucked up the design on frostmourne though.

Oh my god, I k,ow these feels. I think about this a lot actually. I fucking love bioshock now, but I remember actively passing on the toys AT MARKDOWN because I wasn't interested in them at the time. I should know! What a fool I was!

Damn, fellas, hope you guys can manage to get one sometime. There was a second version that had working lights, too. Love this guy. No other figure I bought since has put as much of a smile on my face as Mr. Bubbles.

Not op, Are you talking about the guy with the cape and sword? That would be the DC unlimited arthas figure. It's statueshit but it's cool statueshit, I actually have a large collection of the world of Warcraft dc line
