I was talking strictly SHFSS. Kuuga (series) has base + 2 upgrades + Daguva, Decade will likely be base + upgrade + Diend, Kabuto will be base + upgrade + Gattack. You have got to be shitting me. Ordered SS Agito on Amazon and the figure showed up with the chest paint all fucked up and the arm joint was loose. I returned it and got a replacement with sloppy paint application all over the legs, and midsection. Because what the fuck is quality control anymore, right?

Bluefin doesn't produce the figures, dumbshit. Amazon accepts returns for any reason no questions asked so you probably got shit that was played with/fucked up and returned. Bandai has shit QC on a lot of their SHFs but Riders are usually given the highest attention and I've never heard of problems with Agito. Honestly I would return that shit and buy from one of the usual import shops. Agito was on clearance everywhere until recently.

Could someone tell me the general size of SIC figures? A relative of mine got picture related and thought "Well, I like these, I'll get some more" and bought the dual packs of Ryuutaros/Gun Form and Zeronos/Deneb and it turns out they're a third of a size taller than a Figuarts. Were the dual packs earlier ones or later ones, and which size should be expected normally?

OOOs are mostly in line with other heights until you use their attachments. ShaUTa has 8 huge tentacles to rest on, SaGohZo slots in with large arms and legs, Anything with Bata legs gets a height boost. Wing span on the TaJaDol versions is pretty big and heavy.
I'd recommend any of them, but Gatakiriba is the most expensive, as cheap as 10k if you're patient.

Okay, so I have sad news in the form of a question for you guys.
I just recently got the S.H. Figuarts OOO Ankh (Pic related) [Recently meaning: I ordered the figure about a month ago and received it two or three days ago, having handled the figure for a very VERY short time] and decided that I wanted to get a picture of him not holding the TaToBa combo. As I went to pull on the arm to remove it from the joint, the entire ball-portion came off from the connection ball-portion in the arm. Therefore, the joint broke off inside the hand holding the TaToBa combo. I super glued the piece back onto the arm joint as best as I could, but am I completely screwed now with this figuart? Will it be impossible to ever change the arm or the posing?

Hate to tell you this anon, but that Ankh doesn't have a normal wrist joint, all of the poseability is in the single ball that the hand fits on. Where in other Figuarts there would normally be another joint on the arm where the wrist connects (pivot hinge), on Ankh it is fixed in place. Sounds like you hamhanded it by accident.

Well damn. I have a feeling it's gonna be too fragile to try and move it when I'm gonna test it tomorrow, but I don't have a dremmel, and I don't think trying to remove the joint itself will do me any good in the long run.
If it would be a simple fix, it might be worth a shot, but it seems like it might make a bigger headache I don't need.
The joint did feel very resilient in switching out the hands, so maybe I did accidentally force it too much. But it still just flat out sucks. Thanks for the info guys.

The last figures we've gotten were the main 6 Kyoryugers. If SHF Sentai had any future we would have seen a ToQ 1 or AkaNinger by now. There is the chance they'll take the 40th anniversary to push an older character but that seems unlikely. I kind of expect the Power rangers movie to revive it. It'd seem odd for them to not to something for it considering how Hollywood movies tend to be considered something of a big deal in Japan and they likely have the rights to making merchandise through Bandai America.

So, Figuarts or S.I.C. for these guys? I'll be getting the shfss of Gattack when that comes out, but apart from that I don't have/haven't planned to get any other riders from Kabuto.
Just for info, though, were the Hopper S.I.C.s the 1/10 ones or Kiwami Damashii, because if so then I couldn't mind getting some of the other Kabuto KD figures and the Armour Change ones to go with them because those look sick.

Same thing happened to me when I watched Kabuto. I went with the SICs and love them. In fact I now prefer SICs over SHFs thanks to them. You can get them for 3-4k yen easily these days, which makes them even cheaper than the SHFs. They're full-sized SICs, not the Kiwami.

The Figuarts are some real stick figures, and I'd imagine their ankles being really loose by now depending on the wear.
I'm not that fond of the aesthetics of the Kabuto SIC figures. They don't look bad, except for those cylindrical legs they all have, but aren't really wowing me. At least they're cheap.

Apart from being smaller they are definitely not shittier. If they had made the the same size as the Japanese they probably would have been better, as they would have had the spring mechanism which makes it more like the show.

They are pretty bad. Five out of the eight packs I got all had their stickers placed incorrectly to the point it was crawling over the side and I eventually had to peel it off and place it back on. You have some really bad paint applications on the Mystic Force keys especially, and the paint in general feels applied worse than any Japanese keys for nearly triple the price. The plastic is on par with the cheapest feeling plastics that BoA loves using in the mechs, and the spring-loaded legs aren't always properly flush with the key portion so the legs end up hovering up a bit, or one side is lopsided.
