I have two warthogs, an NMPD hornet, the gungoose, and the new Banshee and Ghost. All are pretty good, though the hornet doesn't have any controls for the pilot, and the warthogs always feel a little cramped.
From reviews, it looks like most of the big stuff is really, *really* scaled down. The Elephant and the Vulture in particular look like they've been shrunk to almost comical size, though that's really only when you compare them with pics from the game. In terms of regular play, they look totally fine.

Okay, there are some pretty intense structural problems with the Squid. The hatch in particular seems like an ill-advised last-minute change. The presence of the hinge means the side of the body sort of floats in space (along with the side panels pretty much the whole way.
Replacing the hinge with 1x2 bricks with side studs strengthens the body considerably, and the hatch now pulls off (like the Ninjacopter) Still works fine.

I built pic related today and damn I almost couldn't believe it was Enlighten. Parts snugness is the best I've yet to see from them, hell most of the parts even feel like Lego now, in fact a lot of them have "Enli" printed on the studs now, don't remember seeing that before on other sets.

I noticed that too. They seem quite flimsy. My oldest brother has a Washington Redskins fig. I imagine the real life sports teams/players factor is enough for some people to buy them.
The more flexible arms and legs are a cool idea, but the design could be better.

The parts on original minifig designs can be swapped around yeah, I cobbled together a few interesting figs from spare parts.

They're still pushing a lot of the H4-5 armor but more and more classic stuff keeps coming out, pic related is entirely Reach armor variants though you'll be hard-pressed to find it (TRU exclusive). A lot of the current sets have figs from before H4: the Firebase has Kelly-087 from Halo Legends, Drone Outbreak has Jorge-052 and a JFO, the Gungoose has Noble-6. H2-3 stuff is coming with new style Brutes I think.

The new ones are slightly taller so it depends on the comparison really, new style Spartans are a little more in scale with original style Marines for example. Scale has never really been a strong point of the line seeing as Elites are supposed to be taller than most Spartans, let alone Marines.

Unfortunately there aren't many options available, there's probably a few MB forums with BST threads out there but I haven't looked into it.

I have most of the Black Pearl thanks to finding it at a thrift store, I can't speak for the line in general as I don't have anything else or even any of the figs but it came out before their major push for quality (ie the Halo era). The ship parts have about as good a grip as the first year of Halo sets, maybe a bit less but it holds together at least as good as an average Enlighten set.

Man, really disappointed at what the bootleg minifig makers have been coming up with lately. A lot of Chima/microfighters stuff coming out recently.
The custom designs for unreleased heroes were the best part of SY/Decool (pic related). Pity we never did get some figures like Starfire (admittedly it's a 2015 set) or Poison Ivy (no excuse for this one).
I take it that Mega Bloks lost the license for Warcraft? It seems weird that they would hold onto it but not produce any sets to coincide with the movie coming out this year. I wonder why they didn't bother trying to get the rights back. They made sets for Turdminator Gynesis, and I don't see how they could possibly do any worse.

Fucking finally. With this set, my Noble collection is complete
So, since I've become a space cops devotee, I've decided that there needs to be biker space cops, and what better solution than the gungoose? I've switched the rear wheel wells around to hide the USNC stuff (might take some paint thinner to them sometime to clear it up further), put some red and blue transparent bits on the front for lights, but it's not quite perfect yet. I really wanted to put a shield on the front that would clip on to form the windscreen and then pull off to serve as a tactical shield, but I couldn't find a way to get the angle right.
Another thing I'm planning is to make a police drone, sorta a floating security/red light camera that's also armed, and can maybe land to deploy some tactical shields and become a mounted turret for space cops to use. Initially I planned on taking apart the Vulture drone to do it, since I was inspired for the whole project by its shape, but the propellers are too tan to get away with calling it an NMPD drone. Instead, I'm thinking of pulling the Wraith drone apart and using pieces from it for the project.

Back before they announced it, I was trying to formulate a Cop Hog myself, and I couldn't come up with anything to put on the back but either a troop transport deal or a bunch of kennel cages, to make it a k9 unit. That's what I'll be doing with my cop hog when I get it, to turn it into a dog hog.

1/32-ish. The vehicles are more like 1/24-ish.
They're also not proportional, so they're kinda SD if you try to directly compare them to other 1/30-ish guys.
