Fucking moron.

RIGHT!? Everyone knows it's lifesaver. Just ask Han and Chuy's son.
>>
>>5472682
The fuck? This junk is $105? is it sturdy enough to play fight?
>>
>>5473241
Sturdy enough to knock your teeth out.
>>
>>5473241
No they are definitely not sturdy enough to fight with. Even swinging them around makes them feel like they could fall apart at any moment.
>>
Well dang, I have one from like 10 years ago. Maybe I should sell it too.
>>
Light saver? Dropping cash like that, you're more like a heavy spender.

saw one a while ago where you can take it apart, see all the components and the crytstal, as well as attach a blade that lights up and has sound
wish i new the name/how much it went for
but it was probably just a personal hobby build that he's not looking to make a business off of
>>
>>5473740
You can get ones like that for $800 to $100 that are made with real 1950s graflex camera flashlights.
>>
>>5474055
$1000*
>>
>>5474055
who the fuck has $1000 lying around?
assuming i had the crafting skills necessary to make this (i don't), how much would the parts be?
specifically the camera parts
and how much/how hard would it be to build with the camera parts but no sound/lights/inner components?
>>
>>5476338
>and how much/how hard would it be to build with the camera parts but no sound/lights/inner components?
i meant that i don't need to build the blade either, in case that wasn't clear

I am not sure, if you want the actual 100% same parts they used in the movie, they can be pretty expensive. Particularly the graflex camera flashlight. People know that they can charge a lot for them now. I have seen them go from $150 to $500 just for the flashlight part (which is the base of the saber).

Only other things you need really are:
1.Plastic draw sliding things for the grips

2. Some type of computer card/bubble card, cut to fit into the graflex clamp

3. Screws

4. Various buttons for the exterior

Of course, there are replicas of all these parts that you can buy for pretty cheap from various websites. The Custom Saber Shop has copies of those parts.

Pic is a $200 kit machined from aluminum to 1:1 scale of the original. (not an actual graflex flashlight). It has all the parts you need to make the versions from the original trilogy and ep 7. Its the Parks sabers Graflex 2.0 kit.

I'm gonna get one of these. Thoughts?

Doubt, your post indicates... get or do not get. There is no try.

I have that same Saber OP. I thought about selling mine but it's just too cool to give up.
>>
>>5486976
Sell it and use the proceeds to begin the task of constructing your own lightsaber
>>
>>5472682
there is a ghetto Kmart near me that had the kylo ren lightsaber for 199.99. I thought maybe, but the box had been opened and re-taped. Someone probably put the 20 dollar one in there and has the 200 dollar one at home. Box was beat up, too.
>>
>>5487394
That's actually my next saber purchase. I've been looking at parts to figure out how I want to build it.

>>
>>5497235
I obviously changed my mind and kept it. But I still wanna build one. I think that would be really cool.
>>
>>5497235
I havent turned or even touch it since whenever the fuck the rots came out. Thats nearly 10 years of dust
>>
>>5499196
I've usually had it outside the box somewhere since it's my favourite hilt, but rarely keep the batteries considering it doesn't get much use. Don't want an acid leak or anything.

>>5498546
Yeah a sturdy DIY stunt lightsaber has it's advantages.
>>
Has anyone ever made a Graflex lightsaber?
>>
>>5499315
They sell kits you can buy. They're not made with authentic Graflex parts, just replicas. You can get ones with real parts but they cost like a grand.
>>
>>5499298
>battery acid
Jesus christ im too afraid to open that 10 year old saber now
>>
>>5472682
Can someone finally clarify the damn order of lightsaber tiers for me? There's so many different variants now. Trying to figure out where my Mace Windu Signature Series Force FX one falls. Which are now grossly inflated in price on Amazon

This is a good video. The only ones not shown in this video is the Black Series. The Black Series came about last year and are currently being restocked and sold out again and again. There is only a Luke, Yoda, Vader, and Kylo version of the Black Series. The blades are not removable on the Black Series.

I am not sure about the price for all the variants from 2005-2016, but basically whenever a movie comes out, they will all inflate like crazy, especially the removable blade ones from the late 00s. I bet you could get $400-$500 for a good in shape one with a removable blade, and maybe $300 for non removable blade versions.

As a side note, if you have a (2002?) Anakin Attack of the Clones saber, or a (2004?) Luke Empire Strikes Back saber, those are really rare and will go for a lot in good condition I think.
